It’s been almost two weeks since Taehyung’s relationship with Jungkook got out and things haven’t gotten better with Yoongi.
His brother was still doing everything he could to prevent the two lovers from being together. It seemed like whenever Taehyung just turned his head in Jungkook’s direction, Yoongi’s hawk eyes were on him so he just turned tails. He didn’t want to give his hyung more reasons to be mad and disappointed so he was keeping his distance, hoping the situation would calm down.
He was still kinda hurt that Jungkook didn’t fight for him more though. He understood that he didn’t want to go against Yoongi as well, they weren’t just a boss and an employee, they were friends. But Taehyung really missed him, every day that’s passed when they weren’t together was horrible and instead of getting better, it actually felt worse.
Jimin noticed that Taehyung was down. He tried to cheer him up, suggested that they could hang out, go shopping or something but Taehyung always rejected him with a sigh, turning around with sad eyes and going to his room.
So Jimin decided to act because he was tired of Yoongi’s bullshit. He understood that he needed his time to get used to the fact that his little brother dates a gang boss but he knew that the longer Jeongguk and Taehyung would be apart, the worse it was going to be for them and it might even harm their relationship, they might just want to give up. And Jimin didn’t want that, he now understood that they were happy together and they needed each other. Taehyung’s eyes sparkled in the past months, he was just so cheerful and Jungkook, Jungkook finally found someone who was able to bring his walls down and warm up his cold heart.
“I don’t take no for an answer, Tae, we are going out, I already told Yoongi, don’t worry,” Jimin insisted, urging Taehyung to go get dressed.
“I am really in no mood, Jimin,” Taehyung whined.
“Trust me, Tae, please,” Jimin looked at him almost urgently, trying to speak with his eyes because he didn’t dare to speak up, the house seemed to have ears these day.
“O-okay,” the younger nodded eventually, confused by his friend’s behaviour. He then mumbled: “Where is he?”
Jimin knew who Taehyung was referring to, probably wondering how Jimin convinced Yoongi to take him out because he’d be too paranoid, thinking he might meet with Jungkook.
“We managed to get one of Seojoon’s men to talk. We offered him a plane ticket and nice new life with lots of money in America. Jungkook and Namjoon went to talk with him,” Jimin explained, knowing he could speak about these things openly with Taehyung.
Half an hour later, they were in the car, driving from the house. Taehyung was still in no mood honestly but he was still kinda happy to get out of the house to go somewhere that wasn’t school.
“This is not the way to the city,” Taehyung pointed out when he looked out of window, noticing they missed the turn to the centre of Seoul.
“Nope, we’re not going there,” Jimin grinned nonchalantly, eyes fixed on the road.
“Jimin?” Taehyung gave him a pointed look.
“Trust me, Tae, you are gonna be happy,” the older looked briefly at him with a smile.
Half an hour later, they stopped in front of some motel by the highway. It looked really shady and Taehyung didn’t understand anything.
“Room fifty seven, you can thank me later. Just text or call when you are done here, I am gonna pick you up, we have to come back home together,” Jimin urged him out of the car.
“What the fuck is happening, Jimin?” Taehyung asked, still not understanding what was going on.
“Oh my god, just go see your man, for fuck’s sake!” Jimin exclaimed. Taehyung gasped, opening his mouth and closing it again, looking at the motel, eyes sparkling again.
