The night disappeared and the morning came and surprisingly Remus didn't have a nightmare; he was grateful for that. He reached for his wand to cast tempus, a time spell, but remembered where he was, James' house, so he couldn't use magic. He heard knocking on the door of the guest room; his room they had called it, followed by...

"Remus honey, are you awake?"

It was Euphemia. He was quick to respond and stuttered along his words. "Y-yep. I'm... awake E-eiffie," He stumbled.

"Okay, it's 8:45 so breakfast will be ready in half-an-hour to 45 minutes Hon."

"Thank you! Thank you soooooo much! You've been really nice to me."

"Any friend of James' is welcome here. It's my pleasure Remus."

"I'll be down soon, okay?"

"Take as long as you need!"

The hours before the train flew faster than the golden snitch and before they knew it, Remus' reorganising his trunk and the boardgames that he and James had played, as well as Effie's delicious breakfast that consisted of: egg and bacon rolls with muesli and yoghurt were suddenly behind them as Fleamont took his son's arm and Euphemia took Remus' and they apparated to King Cross Station, platform 9 and 3/4. Suddenly in the mess of witches, wizards and everything else surrounding them; so they made sure they stuck together. Them and their belongings.

"Busy today, ey?" Fleamont said, in true dad fashion, smirking. Eiffie laughed at him and rolled her eyes because of course he would say that. She gestured to everyone to follow her and walked ahead of everyone towards the luggage storage on the train. James saw the Pettigrew family nearby and nearly blinded towards them like an excited puppy but realised Sirius and the Blacks were nowhere to be found and James had the nerving anxiety-ish thoughts that Sirius wouldn't show, or that something, something bad, had happened. Aw man, now he would never meet Regulus. Now where is Sirius, he has to be here.

"Remus. Pssst!"

"What?"

"Can you see Sirius? I can see Peters family but not-"

"Relax, James. He's right over there; his mum looks pretty angry though, so I'd refrain from going over."

James nodded and him and stood rooted in his place, looking around somewhat like a lost puppy until his eyes crossed over Lily and Severus.

"Hey Evans and Sniv are over there," he pointed, "if you wanted to go say hi."

"Yeah, come with me. We'll talk to Peter and Sirius afterwards."

"Sounds good!" James dragged his eyes away from the Black family as they walked away from his parents.

The two boys pushed their trolleys through the millions of people it took to meet with their friends. Lily and Severus greeted Remus and James as Lily frantically brushed a comb through Severus' hair.

"It's like you didn't even try to get ready this-morning Sev," she groaned.

"It's not worth it when I have to compete with you and your perfect hair, perfect smile, and perfect outfits. You try enough for the both of us Lil's."

"C'mon you two, we have to pick up Pete and Sirius. Anddd try and get the same cabin as last year,"Remus said. "James, you said goodbye to your parents right?"

"Yeah, I think so at least. I'll do it again just to make sure." He rushed off, quickly adding, "I'll get Sirius and Peter. We'll meet you on the train!"

The group started wandering towards the cabin they had taken last year. Thank Merlin that no one had taken it.

James was practically dragging Sirius and Peter away from their families, their luggage in the back of the train and they got to the cabin about 5 minutes until the train left. James snagged the second free window seat, Remus beside him in the middle, Peter next to him. Sirius was opposite Peter, Lily to Remus and James to Snape.

"What took you guys so long?; you nearly missed the train!" Severus scolded them. "Though it would mean a year of peace and quiet." His voice calmed and he stuck his chin up, arms crossed. A young boy passed through the corridor, running, before back tracking at their cabin. He knocked on it twice and Peter opened the door.

"Regulus?"

A/n 718 words, I know it's short but ya know why I ended it there right? It builds suspense and well. I like that + it could range from half and hour to 3 months until I release the next chapter so yeah. I'll try and finish it today dw. Thanks so much if you're reading my stories and it probably means you need water, food and sleep and to get off tech for at least 20 minutes so go do that for me or no more chapters! Byeeeeeeee
