CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR | REGRET
𓆩❤︎𓆪𓆩❤︎𓆪𓆩❤︎𓆪Regret. That was all Sophia Morales felt when she woke up, blood and semen staining the sheets, thighs aching and her heat pulsing around Storm. She felt as though she'd betrayed her family like her body had betrayed her as it continued to tighten around Storm's length. He hadn't pulled out, no. He'd stayed inside her, cum inside her a total of six times before the girl nearly passed out from fatigue and even so, he refused to pull out. He liked the warmth of her heat, the feeling of their essences mixing around him, inside her.
Sophia had been too tired to care at night but now she was anything but nonchalant. She was frozen, scared and hurt, crying as she tried to push out of his iron grip no matter how warm it felt to be in his arms. It was nauseating how she fit so perfectly in the killer's arms, so heart-wrenching she wanted to throw up. She couldn't take it. She couldn't deal with the fact that they had sex—unprotected sex—and Storm had stayed in bed with her—inside her—unlike any other girl he'd ever fucked.
Sophia cried, her tears dripping on his chest as her soft sobs filled the room. She felt overwhelmed and just wanted him off her, to be alone and to recollect her thoughts. But his iron grip didn't let her go. It forced her to stay put despite every push, every silent plea and every tear.
Storm eventually stirred from her soft cries, the noise making the strings of his heart twist like a tornado. She couldn't even look at him, her soft fingers pressing against his chest and repeatedly pushing to no avail as tears streamed down her face and cries filled the room.
Storm took her chin between his fingers, wanting to taunt her for being in denial and for acting as though she hadn't begged him for more, as though she hadn't begged him to cum inside her, as though she hadn't wanted it, wanted him but then his eyes locked with her pretty sapphire, glimmering like she'd captured all the stars in the universe, tears filling them and making them glossy and his heart squeezed painfully. He couldn't say it. The words wouldn't leave his lips, not when she was as hurt as she was.
Silently and gently, he pulled away, pulling out of her despite wanting nothing more than to stay, especially when the soft pleasured cry left her lips, eliciting more cries. He wanted to wipe them all away, tell her that it was okay but he couldn't. Not when she stared at him like that and not when he didn't understand what he was feeling himself. So instead he just left, gently closing the door behind him and letting her have a moment for herself.
He showered in one of the spare rooms, touching his chest with a furrow between his eyebrows. It was like everything she was feeling had extended to him and he didn't like it. It made him feel weak. He didn't like feeling as though he was weak. It reminded him of when he was a kid and that nauseated him.
Sophia continued crying long after he left, staring at the dried semen and blood on her thighs, how they twitched, wanting to have more of everything he could give her and she didn't like that. She didn't like feeling as though she was craving her family's killer, the man who had completely ruined her life. He was the bad person in every nightmare, the cause of every bad memory that haunted the girl and a coldhearted murderer. She didn't want him, she couldn't want him.
It was a while before she finally got up on her shaky feet and stepped out of his room and into her own. She practically bee-lined to the shower, turning it on the hottest setting and roughly cleaning the evidence off her skin long after it was already gone until she broke her skin. Pain, physical pain, she could bear but her own betrayal? That was too heavy for her heart to carry, especially not when she'd vowed to kill him.
