I gasp as I see him standing by the closed doors. Arms crossed over his chest with an evil sparke in his black eyes. My heart starts pounding in my chest and my mouth turns dry. He is the last person I ever wanted to see again.

I want to run away as fast as humanly possible, but am frozen in place, unable to tear my eyes away from the hateful gaze that meets my own. For a moment I contemplate climbing over the fence and jumping off the balcony, but that would mean an almost certain death.

Would death really be so bad?

No. There has to be another way out of his grasp. I won't survive his hands on my body again.

"Oh, come on back inside Cali. You'll catch a cold, Demetrios will not be pleased." His voice rings in my ear, a mocking chuckle that sends chills down my spine.

But yes, he is right. The only way out is the way back inside.

Before he could decide to come any closer I rush back inside the room, circling behind sofa to put an obstacle between our figures. It makes me feel safer.

He laughs at my action. Evil and dark laughter, laced with venom. I find similarities in their laughter, sometimes I find hard to understand how they can be so similar, but, oh God, so different.

Although I know, if Dimitri hadn't found an interest in me, then I'd scream in fear when dreaming about him too. I did it some times already. But one thing I know - he would never force himself on me like his cousin decided to.

"You think couch is going to stop me from coming near you?" He mocks, it's no doubt he finds all this very entertaining.

He steps closer to the sofa. I back away almost instantly and circle around it to the right side, secretly trying to position the door right behind me so I could run away at the proper moment.

"Cat got your tongue Cali?" He arches his eyebrow and stands in place. "Oh! How does he call you.. little girl, right? Suits you!"

I gulp down my saliva, unamazed by his boring chatting attempts. But I need him to continue looping around the true intention of his visit, I need to stall. Dimitri will be back soon, right? How long does the meeting even last?

"I know what you're thinking" his voice snaps me back to my best focus "he won't be back in a long time. Usually takes a couple of hours for these gatherings to finish. We have all the time in the world to trail from where we left off." He grins, circling the couch in slow movement, playing with my nerves so I'm always on edge, not knowing when he's going to finally pounce at me.

"You stay away from me." I hiss.

He swings his arms in fake surrender, gasping. "Oh, she speaks." Then scoffs. "And who's gonna stop me? You?"

I hate that he's right. I have no power to stop him, I'm useless. So I put on my best poker face and narrow my eyes at him, building up confidence. It's my only chance at stopping him. "If I were you, I'd not take a single step towards me again. Because if you do, then so help me God, I will tell him everything." I threaten, mentally congratulating myself not to stutter.

His eyes gawk at me, face schrunching up in dark frown. "You will do no such thing Cali. You'd only brought problems on yourself. Do I have to remind you what will happen if the words slip from your little mouth, hm? You know why I cut you off back there? When you attempted to tell him what I did to your pretty little body that night?"

I don't bother trying to respond, I know it is rethorical. As hard as it is to admit, I know exactly why I can't tell a single soul about this.

"I'm glad you do." He smirks at my lack of words. "You know I saved you, right? Because if you'd told him he would have sold you out of his mansion to be raped and abused before you'd be able to get your false little accusation straight. He put that much of his time into you and how you repay him? By accusing his cousin of assaulting you in his absence just so you have an excuse to keep on denying him. Because at the end of the day we both know you only mean a good fuck for him, don't we?" I see his eyes fuming at my attempt of defiance as poisonous words keep spilling from his mouth. "You know he wouldn't believe you. How could he? Do you have any evidence whatsoever to back up your accusation? None. On the other hand, I am family. He trusts me, not you. He actually gives a damn about me, not you."
