Overprotective

It was once again a weekend. Instead of trying to hang out with Terushima one-on-one, it ended up being a group things with all the teams and managers.

You were a little disappointed. You kind of wanted more alone time with the Johzenji captain. You found him interesting and liked getting to know him privately.

The boy himself was just happy you were in the same space as him. He had felt sad when he walked you to the train station, watching the train leave for Tokyo with you on it. A part of him had wanted to ask you to stay that night at his place, but the stopped himself as a way of keeping you safe from some of his own tendencies.

Kuroo and Yaku made sure that you and Terushima didn't even get the chance to be within 3 meters of each other. They kept the distance between you two, not even allowing you and the blond captain the opportunity to just talk with each other.

You sighed, looking at the boy that fascinated you from across the room. You smile and wave at him when he looks over, making eye contact with you. Terushima gives you a smile, waving back at you.

Kuroo glares at him. "Where are you looking, Terushima?"

"At cutie pie-chan, duh. She's smiling and waving at me, it would be rude to not do the same." HIs attention shifts over at the overprotective boys in front of him.

Yaku glared. "Stop calling Y/n that. And don't even look at her. Someone as innocent as her shouldn't be exposed to someone like you."

"Really? She doesn't seem to mind. In fact, I think she rather enjoys being around me. She's so nice, it makes me feel a bit better about myself."

Kuroo narrowed his eyes at the boy. "You better leave her alone. She may be nice, but that kindness is only wasted on a playboy like you."

Terushima frowns. "That's rude. Maybe you should ask her how she feels about being around me and acting nice towards me. She told me herself that I was kind to her, so I deserve her kindness."

Yaku snorted. "Yeah, right. Don't you dare get close to our manager. She's too innocent for you."

"That's why I haven't laid a finger on her... except when we hugged."

The Nekoma libero nearly blew up. "What?! You hugged our manager?"

"She hugged me, actually."

Kuroo snorted. "I don't believe you."

Terushima sighed, turning to face you once more. "Hey, cutie pie-chan, didn't we hug last weekend?"

You look over at him, a wide smile spreading across your face. "Yeah, it was a fun weekend with you. Why?"

"Your team doubts that we actually hugged."

"We did... but it took you a while to hug me back."

Kuroo and Yaku stared in disbelief, then slowly turned to face Terushima. "Don't lay another finger on our manager!"
