Love

You had spoken so confidently. It surprised everyone, even Terushima - who already knew how you felt.

Hana gave you a disbelieving stare. "You... you don't really mean that, do you?"

You nod. "Why would I say something I don't mean? And hat would be so wrong about me loving Terushima-senpai?"

Yaku looked ready to have a heart attack. "He's really not the best person for you, Y/n."

"I don't care. I love him and that should be all that matters."

You had finally had enough. You couldn't hold back your thoughts and feelings anymore. You wanted to shout it for the whole world to hear.

"I love Terushima-senpai."

The boy felt his heart skip a beat at your declaration. "Cutie pie-chan... you really didn't have to say that."

You look him right in the eye. "Yes, I did. They wouldn't understand why I always defend you if I kept quiet about it any longer. They needed to know. You needed to know."

Terushima smiled softly at you. "Well... now they know. There goes the secret."

Kuroo turned to him, anger glinting in his eyes. "What secret?"

"I fucked your manager last night. I was staying the weekend at her house, she invited me. Begged me, actually."

Shock rippled through the crowd of volleyball players and managers. There were no words any of them could say to reply to that.

Yaku looked like he was about to blow up. "You did not."

You stood in front of Terushima protectively. "He did and I wanted it. There's nothing any of you can do about it now. I love him and want to be his girlfriend."

Even Terushima himself hadn't been expecting you to say that. He had no clue when you got so bold. But he liked it. And he knew he couldn't be able to hold back anymore.

Terushima grabbed you, whipping you around face him. He leaned in and kissed you. "Fuck, I love ya. Will you be my girlfriend, Y/n?"

Your eyes widened, surprised that he actually called you by your name. A sweet smile soon spreads on your face. "Terushima Yuji, nothing would make me happier than to be your girlfriend."

A few shocked gasps ran through the room. No one would've ever believed that this was really happening. But it was.

Terushima held you close to his body, a huge smile on his face. "Alright! I mean, I knew you were gonna agree, but I wasn't expecting such boldness in front of everyone else."

You give him a pure smile. "Of course I was gonna be like this in front of everyone. I love you."

"I love you too."
