Hiding

Yet again, all of the volleyball teams decided to spend time together. You and Terushima were separated, yet that didn't mean the Johzenji captain didn't have your attention. Whenever you weren't engrossed in a conversation, you would look over and smile at the energetic wing spiker. And, sometimes, he'd look over and make eye contact with you, a smile would spread on his own lips.

And this gained Hana's attention. "You've been looking over at Terushima a lot lately, Y/n."

You look over at the older girl. "Oh... sorry. I just get a little distracted."

"What does he even do to gain your attention?"

You shrug, not making eye contact with her or any of the other female managers. "I don't know. Maybe it's just how his energy radiates off of him."

Meanwhile, the guys noticed a certain wing spiker waving at you, attempting to gain your attention once more.

Kuroo stood in front of his, cutting you off from his field of vision. "Stop staring at Y/n, Terushima."

Terushima frowns, looking up to make eye contact with the middle blocker. "No way, dude. Cutie pie-chan and I are making lovely eye contact. Stop hiding her from me. It's rude."

Yaku gritted his teeth. "No. What's rude is you constantly going after our manager after we keep telling you to leave her alone. Stay away from her, she's too innocent for you."

"Nah, man. It's not her innocence that I care about. It's her sweetness. She's the sweetest girl ever and now I'm kinda pissed that she has guys like you hiding her from me."

Kuroo glares at the wing spiker. "We are trying to protect her, you're only going to corrupt her."

Terushima huffed out a breath, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm not corrupting her. I'm just getting to know the cute girl while also telling her about myself. It's not my fault she keeps going out of her way to constantly talk to me in whatever place she wants to drag me to."

All the guys froze at what he said, eyes widening with shock. Everyone stared at the bold wing spiker. Silence claimed the group of guys.

And this gained your attention, causing you to walk over to the boys and standing beside the boldest boy among them. "What's going on here?"

Terushima stands up beside you, smiling at you. "We were just talking, no need to worry about it cutie pie-chan."

You smile at him. "Really? Then what did you say to make them all go silent?"

The boy smirks at you. "Just talking about all the fun you and I have together.... Well, maybe not everything. There do have to be some secrets between us." He winked at you.

You giggled. "Well, I guess you're right about that. There are things that happened that no one else needs to know about, Terushima-senpai."

Even the managers were shocked at the interaction. Not only were you two getting along, but you were sharing stuff that you were hiding from the rest of them. And this only led to them thinking the worst.

Kuroo was fuming. "What did you do to our manager?"

Yaku had a menacing glare on his face. "What have you done to this innocent girl?"

You and Terushima made eye contact, grins spreading on both of your faces. "That's our little secret."
