Eunchae started to realize that Y/n began ignoring her, but didn't think much of it. It wasn't unusual for Y/n to go without talking to Eunchae for a few days, so Eunchae just tried to reach out to Y/n and ask if she was okay. Y/n, however, never responded, which left Eunchae feeling alone and insecure. Eunchae began wondering what she had done wrong and whether Y/n thought there was no point to the friendship anymore.

As Eunchae wandered the halls, a sense of uncertainty gripped her heart.

Was it something she said? Was she not enough?

All the while, she longed to feel the closeness they once shared.

She sought after the warmth that made her feel safe, protected, and loved.

Eunchae yearned to once again be the focus of Y/n's attention and affection.

"Eunchae!" Someone exclaimed, running.

She quickly turned in trepidation, only to see Sean smiling widely.

"Sean..." she mumbled, a bit disappointed

Sean knew Eunchae had been feeling insecure and neglected. He decided to take action and make a move, hoping that it would lift her spirits.

"Eunchae? Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure"

Sean took her hands in his, "Listen, I've been watching how you've been acting, and I know you feel like Y/n doesn't pay any attention to you anymore."

"So, I was wondering if you'd like to freshen up for a bit and maybe hangout at the newly opened arcade..?"

With a smile, Eunchae nodded.

Sean led Eunchae to the arcade to hang out, hoping that playing some games would lift her spirits.

She followed Sean into the arcade, feeling a bit wary yet excited to spend time with him.

Sean grabbed their tickets, "Come on, I want to beat you in arcade games.

"Hey, I'm good at these games." She huffed.

"Okay, let's see who's better."

Eunchae spent time with Sean, but her thoughts were elsewhere.

As they walked hand in hand, her body seemed to move, but her mind was with Y/n.

As he kissed her, her heart fluttered, thinking of the way Y/ns lips taste instead.

As they snuggled, her thoughts drifted to the way Y/n would caress her skin.

Eunchae was physically there, yet mentally, she was miles away.

Sean couldn't help but notice just how sad Eunchae looked. He did his best to distract her and make her laugh, but it seemed like she was already deep in her thoughts.

"... Hey, why the long face? Is something bothering you?" He wrapped his arms around Eunchaes waist.

"Oh... its nothing" she chuckled nervously before wandering her gaze elsewhere.

Eunchae was shifting her gaze when she suddenly felt a familiar feeling.

She turned to a certain direction and saw Y/n, only to see her looking right back at her.

Something strange happened in that moment because it felt almost as if time froze.

It was like their eyes had connected, creating a strange sensation that spread through their bodies.

Neither of them could look away, and both felt as if they were being sucked into each other's soul.

It was a profound and almost magical experience.

Just before Eunchae can't mutter a word. Haerin suddenly interrupted the moment, breaking the spell that seemed to have been cast.

She began talking endlessly to Y/n, and her eyes kept shifting towards Eunchae, causing Y/ns focus to be pulled away.

Y/n didn't seem to notice Eunchae anymore, and the intimate moment that had almost happened was ruined.

Eunchae felt disappointed and heartbroken, wishing that somehow, they could have a second chance at the moment that had been interrupted.

Will she ever get Y/ns attention back?
