Sebastian Fluff One Shots ~||~ Stardew Valley

You too Sebastian.

"Hey did you want to come with us tonight at the saloon? Abby's got an eye for vengeance tonight." Sam offers. The three of them, Sam, Abby, and Sebastian, always go to the saloon on Fridays to drink, listen to music, and play pool. Sometimes I tag along, sometimes I don't.

"You know what, I think I will, I finished up things pretty early today, easy today so yeah, I'll meet you guys there."

"Awesome! I'll tell the others!" Sam's basically jumping for joy. 

"Tell us what?" Sebastian strolls up to us.

"Oh! It's going to be the four of us tonight! We can do pairs finally!" Sam explains.

"Oh! That's great, you and me and Sam and Abigail?" Seb turns to me, but I'm cut off before I can get a word out. 

"I was thinking you and Abigail tonight." 

"Abigail and I didn't get to finish properly last time so I'd make more scene for me to be against her wouldn't it?" Sebastian questions. 

"Well I don't really-," I'm cut off again. 

"Well, couldn't you finish up your game with her then the four of us could play in pairs?"

It doesn't matter to me how we play, as long as we do actually play and not bicker the whole time. 

"I mean, yeah, I guess." Sebastian gives up. "I'll meet up with you guys later." Sebastian smiles towards me but it fades when he looks at Sam then he turns and walks away. 

"Hey, so I'll catch you later?" Sam jolts.

"Yeah, yeah I'll be there."

"Awesome! See you then!" He gives me an awkward little side hug and runs off. I get a glimpse of Sebastian watching in the distance before moving out of sight and I walk back to my house.

Some time passes and it's almost six. I better start heading over. I grab my coat and I'm out the door. It's six-thirty when I get there and you can already hear chattering amongst my neighbors and friends before I even open the door. When I do, I'm greeted with hellos and small conversations while trying to make my way to the back room where Abby and the boys are.

"Hey! You made it!" Sam approaches me and gives me a fist bump. Sebastian looks up from the game, gives Sam an odd look, faces me, and smiles a bit before getting back to his game. Odd. Abby is so focused on the game I don't think she knows I'm here yet.  

"Hey, I'm going to go grab a drink real quick," I tell Sam.

"Hey I'll come with you, the others are too focused on the game and it's getting boring." Sam follows me out of the room.

"How long have they been at that?" I asked.

"Well they left off at an hour last time and I've been going on this one for maybe thirty minutes."

"How do you even go on for that long?" My longest game was maybe forty minutes max. 

"They're both equally as suckish so they just keep scratching or hitting and making absolutely nothing. It makes me question it so much. They even made sure Gus reserved the room for just them so nobody would touch the table."

"You're telling me nobody was allowed to play pool for a week?!" I gasped. That's absolutely crazy to me. You'd think they just forget about it after a few days.

"Yup. Isn't the first time this happened." At this point, Sam and I already grabbed our drinks and walked back to the room. Just beer, not the best in my opinion but it gets the job done.

We reenter the room and Abigail's pretty much sulking and Sebastian looks a little mad. 

"Hey, who won?" I asked.

"I did, hence that." He says pointing at Abigail.

"Hey, I'm not a that! You're a that!" She says back.

"No, you're a child."

"You're so mean Sebastian," Abigail says in a joking way.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" I pull aside Sebastian. 

He nods and we walk into the storage room attached to the room we were just in. 

"What's up?" he asked.

"You seem off, like mad at Sam or something. Did something happen between you two?" These two have been friends for years, I've never seen either of them treat the other this way so this is so out of the ordinary and I don't really like it.

"No, no nothing happened between us. We're the same as usual." 

"But you're-" 

"Hey! We're starting pairs come on!" Sam shouts to us.

Cut off, again! Sebastian and I exit the room and walk over to the pool table, picking up our sticks.

"Girls versus boys!" Abigail shouts. 

"Oh I like that idea," I say in response. This round ends up going on for what feels like ever which is odd considering if you're playing pairs, it should go by quicker since you have two people going for the same type of ball but oh well.

It hits about eleven at night and we're all pooped. Sam's the first to leave after hugging everybody and saying goodnight. Then Abigail and Seb walked me home. 

"Do you have an interest in him?" Sebastian asks out of the blue. 

"No. He's my friend, but nothing more than that. Why the question?" 

"It just kind of looks like he likes you and you're just really friendly with him."

"As I am with you and Abby. I don't see a problem here."

"You know, yeah. I'm getting in my head too much, I'll catch you later." We're already at my door.

Sebastian turns and walks away, he gets off my porch before I yell to him.

"He's not the one I like."

Sebastian turns around and smiles for a quick moment.

"You sleep well."

"You too Sebastian."

Yippie another part! I'm running off no sleep, a monster, an 8-hour work shift, built a whole bookcase, did 4 English assignments, started a new fanfiction for a character my friend put me on, and contemplated writing for A Hitman's Desolate Solitude, if you've noticed, that's gone nowhere.

This idea was given to me by Summer-shines! Thank you so much for the opportunity to keep writing :)
