By six the next night JJ and Spencer were all dressed up ready for a nice date in the town. "You look beautiful." He smiled at his girlfriend, her dress flowed down to her knee it was red which brought out the golden streaks in her hair.

JJ thanked him before grabbing his hand and heading out the apartment. They wondered around for a bit until they found a nice restaurant which took them without reservations. They were seated and given drinks to start. "So, what did you do today?" JJ asked making small talk.

Spencer chuckled. "Like every day Jen, went to class and then I tutored." Spencer had been earning some extra pocket money by tutoring his fellow Chemistry student during their lunch break.

"Sorry." She blushed. "It's just something weird happened today... None of my jeans fit.... Not that you needed to know that."

Spencer smiled reaching forward to stroke her skin. "I don't care, not in a rude insensitive kind of way but a you're still the most beautiful girl in the world to me kind of way."

JJ blushed deeper and she couldn't stop smiling even when she took a drink of her water. It was strange, their fifteen years of friendship and one year of relationship and he could still make her weak in the knees. "I was hoping we could do something after we finished eating?" The blonde asked.

"Anything you wish."

Once they finished eating Spencer paid the bill and the two headed down the street. They intertwined their fingers and gently swung their hands back and forth as they walked. "so where are we heading?" Spencer finally asked after they walked for almost twenty minutes.

"Somewhere fun." Was all JJ replied before turning the corner to walk down an ally. She pulled open a back door and ushered Spencer to walk in, Spencer opened a second door to reveal a darkly painted room with bright colourful lights and tons of people gathered around a stage dancing and singing along.

Spencer eyes widened when he realized what it was. "Karaoke?"

"I thought it would be fun!" She smiled, running up to snag a table. The waiter arrived at the table smiling at JJ.

"Long time no see JJ." The blonde haired waiter smiled. "Changed your mind about that date?" Spencer felt himself get angry and his face turn red as he witnessed the flirting.

"No!" He answered before JJ could. "You don't date other people when you have a boyfriend."

"Because telling you once wasn't enough Sam." JJ laughed, "I'll have my usual, and Spence will have an ice tea." The waiter nodded before heading off.

"Been here before?" Her boyfriend asked bitterly.

"A few times, but I've always been faithful to you Spence. I love you." She reached over to peck him on the lips.

Suddenly his anger subsided and his face softened. "Okay, now you have to go sing for me."

JJ walked up on the stage when her name was called, telling the DJ the song number.

The rest of their evening was full of random fun and romance, JJ couldn't think of a better time they had spend together.
