*one year later*
"Come here Emma! Come to mommy!" JJ called from a few feet away, Spencer was holding Emma up on her feet by her hands and JJ was kneeling in the floor with her arms wide open. Slowly Emma moved her left leg forward wobbling as she did so, then she moved her right leg forward with a huge smile on her face! She went to move her left leg again but didn't move her body forward and her feet slipped from under her landing her on her bottom, she stayed silent for a minute as she sat on the floor. JJ and Spencer held their breath seeing if she was going to cry, instead she let out a perfect giggle and clapped her hands together.

*five years later.*
JJ and Spencer stood in the doorway of their daughters room, they had recently moved into a three bedroom house and they were finally done unpacking. Emma slept soundly in her bed under her star shaped nightlight that hung on her purple walls. JJ felt her husband slip his arm around her waist pulling her closer and breathing deeply.

"Spence," JJ whispered careful not to wake their daughter. "Karen did say there was a five percent chance this would happen, we should be thankful." JJ looked up to see Spencer nodding his head but keeping his eyes in his sleeping child. "The EA said it was Language Process Disorder, it just takes her longer to process words and her thoughts."

"I know," Spencer sighed. "I just want her to feel good about going to school and to be able to do the best she can."

"She has a million thoughts and ideas in that head of hers, they just haven't learned how to come out yet."

*five years later*
Spencer and JJ sat in the living room of their house, Emma was at her friend Angie's for a sleepover leaving the two nearly thirty years old adults at home alone. They were snuggled on their couch watching a movie, JJ's head lay on her husbands chest and his arm was around her waist playing with the hem of her shirt. JJ tilted her head up to face him. "I want another baby." JJ stated bluntly. "Emma is eleven now and we agreed we'd wait until we were older and that sounds so strange saying now... But I do, we have the room and the money, Emma is getting the help she needs and I think it's time."

Spencer twisted his body around to look JJ dead in the eye. "I was going to say the same thing." He smiled before leaning down to graze his lips roughly against hers."

*nine months later*
JJ and Emma were laying in her and Spencer's bed cuddled together watching some tween program. "I hope it's a girl." Emma said turning to face her mom.

"Would you be mad if it was a boy?" JJ asked slightly nervous.

Emma pondered for a moment, "well... No but I really really hope it's a girl."

JJ nodded her head. "So you're father and I were talking, and having a new baby maybe very noisy... We were wondering if you would like to set up a study area in the garage? It's far enough away that if the baby cries you won't here it so you can focus on your work."

Emma turned to look up at her mother confused. JJ sighed before sitting up resting her hand on her nine month pregnant bell, one sitting up she turned to face her daughter directly. "You would do your homework in the garage, because it would be quieter." JJ explained. Emma Learning disorder was improving at a slower pace, but JJ and Spencer didn't mind she was still a happy girl even if her thoughts were scrambled and English was like a second language to her.

Emma nodded her head. "Can't I-" she stopped and closed her eyes for a moment. "Can I put my signs and pictures up?"

"Of course baby!" JJ smiled stroking her daughters hair, "now let's go have ice cream before your dad comes home."

One month later Henry Albert Reid was born on time and perfectly healthy.
