Your POV

I smile as I work at the Morningstar Cafe and I serve the customers of Hell my famous brewed up coffee with some cream and sugar. I smile wide at the customers, but one in particular catches my eye. Lucifer Morningstar who is the king of Hell and the Pride Ring. I get his coffee ready and I go up to him.

"Good morning sir," I say as I am getting his coffee on the table. Lucifer stares at me. "Well hello there miss. You must be the new girl that my daughter hired". I blushed as he stared at me with those gorgeous yellow eyes. "My name is (Y/n) and I was wondering if I can interest you in a pastry or something to eat?" Lucifer smiles as he sees the counter full of baked goods. "Sure. An apple cinnamon strudel sounds delightful". I get to the counter and I serve him a warm apple cinnamon strudel.

"Thank you, dear. Say, this is a tad big for me. Why don't you take a break and enjoy a snack?" I blushed as I looked at him. "Oh I don't think my boss will like that." Lucifer stares as he spots Alastor working behind the counter, smiling at us in a sinister way. Lucifer rolls his eyes. "Well he can just wait for 10 minutes. The crowd isn't going to starve or not get their coffee. And I just say this is the best ding dang coffee I have ever tried!"

We sit and chat for 10 minutes until I get a presence behind me. "Times up, (Y/n)....," Alastor glared at me with static filling my head. "Ugh. I hate it when you do that. I'll see you around, Lucifer. The coffee and strudel is on the house." Lucifer gets up and hands me a piece of paper with a tip with a wink as he leaves. I stare at the $30 tip and a note that reads his address and phone number. I blush big as I get back to work.

The next day

I get myself ready for my shift again and I see Lucifer come strolling towards me. "Hello again Miss. (Y/n)." I smile as he is walking with me to work. "Hello Lucifer. I got your note and I was wondering if you like to join me for a walk after my shift is over?" Lucifer smiles. "If only Alastor let you take the day off." I blush as I look at my phone and I see no messages. "No offense, but Alastor can kiss my ass. He made me stay overnight to stock up the coffee and he was adement about how everything should look."

Lucifer frowned as he took my phone and he quickly messaged Alastor to let me take the rest of the weekend off. "What are you doing? He's going to fire me!", I said as I panicked. "Oh hush my dear. He can't fire you as I am the one who is in charge of who fires and hires. So if he has a problem with that, he can, like you said, kiss my ass". My eyes widened as I take his elbow as we head to the park for a nice stroll.

We walk for a while and we sit on the bench. I stare at Lucifer as he looks very handsome and well dressed. Lucifer looks back at me with a smile. "You know my dear, yesterday was very nice. I must be honest I loved how you prepare coffee and the pastries. However, I think I want to enjoy your company a lot more." I blushed as I looked at Lucifer and my hand touches his. "Really? You aren't just seeing me as a boring, ol coffee girl?" Lucifer shakes his head. "Boring? I don't think so. Cute? Yes."

I look at him oddly. "But you are the king of Hell and the Pride Ring. I thought more royalty girls would be head over heels for you." Lucifer smiles as he strokes my hair. "Both those statements are true, but I don't care about Royalty girls. Forgive me for being blunt about this, but they just want to sleep with me and that's about it. I'm into beautiful girls who aren't just falling for me because of my status in Hell. I want someone who is kind, gentle, and not a walking board mixed in with sandpaper".

I giggled at his analogy. "So are you saying you would....?" Lucifer smiles as he kisses my lips gently and my eyes widen at how soft his lips are. He smells like apples and cinnamon with a hint of firewood. We pulled away slightly and I stared at him with love. "Yes I would love for you to be my girlfriend." I smiled as I hugged him close.

A couple weeks later

I am at Lucifer's mansion making us some hot coffee as the snow is beginning to fall. Alastor closed the cafe as the snow got worse overnight and I am spending the night at Lucifer's mansion until the snow is manageable to drive in. Lucifer comes behind me as he wraps his arms around my waist. "My love, you are freezing!" I smile as I hug him close. "I'm alright. We can cuddle for the rest of the day with the snow falling." We get settled on his couch and we have our coffees and fresh apple strudels.
