Gabi na nang makabalik kami sa hotel. At dahil parehas kaming gutom ay naisipan na muna naming kumain sa pinakamalapit na restaurant. Sobrang dilim na sa paligid ngunit marami pa ring tao, maganda rin ang napili naming restaurant dahil may live band at performers sa harap habang kumakain.
Malapit lang rin ito sa dagat kaya hindi na kailangan ng aircon para lumamig. I flinched when Lorenzo hugged me with his sweater from behind.
"Akala ko ba nag-cr ka lang?" I asked.
"Ang lamig. Baka magka-sakit ka." he smiled as he sat in front of me.
Tumango ako at ibinalot sa akin ang sweater niya. Light meal na lang ang inorder ko dahil medyo busog pa naman ako kanina. Sinamahan ko na lang ng beer para naman makapag-inom ako habang nasa bakasyon.
He ordered beer too, so I guess it's going to be a heavy morning for us tomorrow.
"I just want to stay here forever." he said as he rested his back on the chair. Katatapos lang namin kumain at ngayon ay umiinom na lamang ng beer.
"Me too. This place is so peaceful." I nodded at him while looking at the stars above.
"Hmmm..I enjoyed this vacation because you." he whispered.
Napatingin ako sa kaniya, he's already looking at me. His stare sent shivers down to my spine. Gosh. How can someone stare like they're talking with our soul?
"Dapat lang! You made me ride a zip line! I thought that was the end of me." I chuckled. "Bakit ba kasi gusto mo 'yung mga gano'ng klaseng ride?"
He shrugged. "I don't. There's a lot of things I never experienced as a kid."
"Why?"
"Growing up, my dad's always telling me that I would take after him. So, I grew up in his control, meeting his standards. Only to find out, how evil he is not just to his job but to my mom." he rolled his eyes.
"You never played outside with your friends?"
"Minsan. But most of the time, I would spend my day reading and studying the books he gave to me."
I heaved a sigh. "That's actually sad. Bata ka pa lang, nararanasan mo na 'yung mga bagay na hindi mo pa dapat iniisip." saad ko. "Bumawi ka naman in college, diba?"
