It was finally New Year's. Atlas was so excited for what next year would bring. 2023 was one of the best years of her life by a long shot.
She wouldn't wait for what 2024 would bring. Hopefully it would be as good as it was.
Atlas planned a hangout out with some of her friends. There was a fair open only for new years and she got the tickets.
Dior was already at Atlas and Charlie's house so they just waited for the others to arrive.
After a half an hour the doorbell rung and Atlas got it while Charlie and Dior were talking in the kitchen.
She opened the door and it was Brady and Xochitl. "Hey guys!" Atlas said pulling her into a hug. "Hey, Atlas. Thanks for inviting us." She said pulling away. She hugged Brady.
"Of course. I haven't seen you in a while and we all were in the city." She said and they walked in. "Also I do have three more people coming. I think you guys will like them." Atlas said as they walked into the kitchen.
The door bell rung again and Atlas walked over to the door again and opened it. Conan, Madison, and Natalie were at the door. "Hey beautiful's." She said to them. She gave each of them a hug and they all walked into the kitchen.
"Guys, this is Conan, Madison, and Natalie." She said, introducing them. "This is Dior, my boyfriend, Charlie, Brady, and Xochitl."
Dior's stood there shocked and looked at Atlas. "Conan Gray?" She mouthed and Atlas smiled and nodded.
They all talked for a little bit and then they headed out to Atlas's car. "Sorry, some of y'all are going on someone's lap. I don't have eight seats unless one of you wants to go in the trunk." She said unlocking her car.
"I'll go in the trunk." Dior said and Atlas nodded. They all got into the car and Madison had to sit on Natalie's lap and they heard over to the fair.
They all got in and they decided that rides they wanted to go on. The ended up going in groups to go on some of the rides.
They regrouped at the food court and got food before headed back on some of the rides. Atlas and Charlie headed over to go some of the carnival games. On the way they stopped to take pictures with fans.
"I'm having a lot of fun. I'm glad you invited all of them." Charlie said. Atlas looked at him. "Thanks. I haven't seen them in a while and I thought we'd all hang out. I'm glad you all are getting along with each other." She said.
Charlie smiled. "They seem really cool. We should do this again in the summer." He said and Atlas agreed. "Definitely when it's warmer." She said and he laughed.
They regrouped again and they took some pictures and headed out back to her house to watch the ball drop.
Atlas brought out snacks and drinks and Dior turned on the tv to watch the celebration. They all grabbed food and drinks and sat in the living room. They talked turning most of it but when the performances came on they all stopped.
It was the ten seconds to midnight and they counted down. Atlas and Charlie turned to each other and he pulled them in for a kiss.
"Happy new years. I love you." He said. "I love you too." She said and he pulled her in for another kiss.

I've only been writing this for 2 months? and already getting into 2024 in here.
Sorry if this sucked. I worked 4pm to 2am doing our store update so I wrote as fast as I could when I woke up this morning.
