Austin spent the night at Atlas's place and helped her pack for LA. He drove her to the airport and they said goodbye before she went inside.

After she arrived in LA, a driver picked her up and drove her to her home. She unpacked her things and went out for lunch at one of the cafes.

Her and Austin decided they wanted to make their relationship public after two months. The first time they dated, they kept it private but he was more comfortable now.

Atlas agreed she wouldn't post him all the time to respect his privacy. Whereas Atlas, she put almost everything out there. She wanted her fans to know her as she is, not who she isn't from false articles and fake news.

She went back to her home and looked at her phone. Thousands of messages from her story that she posted to announce her and Austin's relationship. She went to her iMessages to find a little less than a hundred texts.

There was a knock of her door and she sat her phone down on her table. She walked to it and opened it up to be surprised. "Hi."

She opened her door wider and nodded her head to the side. "Come in." She said as he walked in and she closed the door behind him.

They walked into her kitchen and she opened the fridge. "Do you want something to drink?" She asked, looking back. "I'm alright. Just came to talk." Charlie said and she closed the door and walked to the counter.

"Bout what?"

He walked up to the counter and sat down in one of the chairs and looked at her. "Don't get mad." He started with and she furrowed her eyebrows. "Why would I get mad?" She asked him.

"It's about Austin."

"What about him?" She asked and he put his phone on the table and looked back at her. "I don't want to sound like a jealous ex, or anything. I'm saying this because I care about you as a friend."

She leaned against the counter top. "I don't think he's good for you." He started with and put his hands up. "Just let me finish. I know about you past with him and I'm just asking if you are sure you want to be with him again."

Atlas nodded her head. "Of course I do."

He sighed. "And you sure he won't hurt your feelings?" He asked her and she tilted her head. "Like you didn't?" She asked back. "This isn't about me." He said and she leaned off the counter and backed away.

She leaned her body on her drawers and crossed her arms. "When we were together, we're basically the same age, only a year apart. We have the same interests, same friends, same hobbies. I can't say the same for Austin—"

"We do." She said, in an annoyed tone. "He's almost 12 years older than you." She said and she shrugged her shoulders. "What does age matter?" She asked.

"Addie, you were 19 with a 30 year old!" He yelled in anger. "That doesn't matter." He moved his hand to his face and breathed out. "I just think it's weird, but if you really feel for each other and see a long future ahead of you, then I guess I'll just have to be okay with it."

He stood up from the chair and grabbed his phone, putting it in his back jeans pocket. "I'm in town for the next few days if you want to continue this conversation. I'll be at Leah's."

He looked back up at her. "Goodbye, Atlas." He said walking out of the kitchen. She heard Charlie open and close the door and she released the breath that she was holding in.

Atlas thought over what he said. It went over and over in her brain. It was the first time she was really thinking about her and Austin's history. She was young, and he was the older guy.

She liked the idea of being with a older guy. It made her feel special. He gave her the feeling of being wanted, of being seen. And he loved her like crazy, and she loved him back.

Authors note:

Sorry if it's shit. I had a long
week at work. I hate people.
Like I want to quit, but I can't,
not for a few months. Or until
next year.

Right before the NFL draft. Ain't
no way I'm working at the mall
with thousands of tourists and
packer fans coming in.

Fuck no.

Anyways, I wanted to watch this show,
The Jetty because of Tom Gylnn-Carney
(Aegon Targaryen in HOTD)

and I couldn't because it's a British
show and on the BBC. So I payed
for a UK VPN and made a bbc
account, changed the zip code/post
code to London and it worked. I binged
all four episodes and it was so good.

And yesterday I watched A Good Girl's
Guide To Murder because I couldn't wait
2 weeks for it to come out on Netflix US.

I had seen spoilers, even though I read
the book three years ago but still. But it
was really good. Definitely recommend
checking out both of them.

Anyways, sorry for rambling,
hope you enjoyed:)
