—real life—

Atlas was in the city for another day before she headed back to set. So she took the day to grieve her breakup with Austin. Her friend, McKenna Grace came over for the day.

They talked about the movies and shows they were doing and new music. They both showed samples of what they were working on. She showed her, her studio set up. She even let her use it for a few hours.

They even wrote part of a song together.

After she left, Atlas started packing her suitcase. She changed out some of her clothes, since some of them were Austin's. She told him that if he were ever in the city to come by her house and pick it up and drop off his key.

When she was done packing she left to go get food and she came right back. She put on a movie while she ate and after she was done, she cleaned up around her house.

Before she knew it, the sun went down. She took a shower and got dressed into pajamas. She went to her room and lit a candle. She turned on her lamp and walked to her door and turned off the light.

She walked back to her bed and got in and started reading one of her books. She read for an hour and sat the book down on her nightstand and blew out the candle. She turned off her lamp and checked her phone before she went to bed.

The next day she got up at six and changed into her normal flying outfit. She grabbed her suitcase and walks around her house, making sure everything was off before she left her house. Her friend, Amy picked her up and drove her to the airport.

She went through tsa and headed to her gate. After an hour or so waited they started boarding. And after that, the plane took off. During the plane ride, Atlas finished reading Circe.

They arrived and she got her bags and started walking to the doors. She looked up and saw someone familiar. Charlie was waiting for her. She smiled as soon as she realized it was him.

She walked up to him. "Char, what are you
doing here?" She asked him and get grabbed his suitcase from her. "I'm picking you up, isn't that obvious?" He asked and she smiled, rolling her eyes. "No shit, really?" She said.

They started walking out of the doors. "I told Mia that I'd get you since I had the day off and wasn't going to do anything. I didn't exactly know when you'd land. I've been here for like two hours." He said and she looked at him.

"You didn't have to." She said and he shrugged his shoulders. "No, I didn't. But I wanted to." He said, looking at her and smiled.

They walked to her car and he put her stuff in the trunk. They got in the car and stopped to get something to eat and headed to her house. While she carried the food, he got her bags and they went inside.

She saw Mia and Abby in her living room. "We come barring food." Atlas said and she put it on the kitchen table. "And I come with her bags." Charlie said, walking in behind her.

They all walked over to the table and she started handing each of them their food. They sat down and ate while they talked about the past few days.

Authors note: sorry it's long. Please
don't ask for another update in the
next week or however long it takes
me to grieve. (Though no one ever
truly finishes grieving a person.)

I said I wasn't going to update
but I felt selfish. This sucks because
I deleted the original. I've been crying
for the past 30 or so hours. I couldn't
sleep at all last night because I
kept checking google every hour
to see that it was all a dream.

That Liam was still alive.

His death hits hard, not just because
I've been a fan for 14 years. 1D was my
first cd I ever got. I'd sit at the park at
age 7 and listen on my portable cd player.
I had posters, calendars, backpack, wallet,
sleeping bag, movies, teddy bears, folders, penciles, toothbrush. Literally everything
but tickets to see them and the shoes.

Growing up and maturing, seeing the dark
side of the band and music industry. Realizing
it wasn't glamorous. To see the real struggle
the boys went through. And Liam, he was
struggling so much. With the almost incident
in 2014 or 2015. His openness with his
addictions. To him becoming sober over
the past year and finally able to smile again.

And the past two weeks leading up to his departure from earth, he was getting so
much hate and relapsed. I know why and sympathize with the victims. But this is
death and people were saying he deserved it.
"Fans" joking about it not even an hour after
it happened. And some people blamed
Niall and his ex Fiancé, Maya Henry.

A man lost his life. He was a son, brother,
father, friend, a person who could create
music to help people. His solo and music
in the band helped me through so much
and the reason I'm here and helped me
shape me as a person.

Though I obviously don't know him
personally, my heart goes out to his family,
friends, loved ones, and other fans.

"But it's not the end, I'll see your face again"
Liam Payne (1993–2024) 💔🪽♾️
