—real life—Don't Worry Darling got released and Atlas and Charlie bought tickets to go see it together. She was excited and nervous for him to see the movie.
It was a good movie. One that she was happy to be apart of. But she was nervous to go with him.
After their kiss they talked about it and both confessed feeling for each other and started dating. But they wanted to keep it private for now.
Even though they have matching stories people thought that it was costars supporting each other. Atlas didn't even have to ask Dior to go see the movie. She just did, which she loved.
Like what Atlas does with Walker and so many others. So as long as they kept the posting down people wouldn't think twice of it.
Since it's only been a month they didn't want to be in the public eye immediately. Atlas didn't want the public to ruin their relationship.
That has happen one too many times with her past relationships. She wouldn't make that mistake with him because she really likes him.
He was different from anyone she's dated.
After Atlas and Charlie took pictures with the poster they went in and grabbed popcorn and drinks and went to the theater and sat down.
"I'm so nervous." Atlas whispered to him. He looked from the ads on the screen to her. "Why?" He asked. "I'm just nervous for you to see it."
He chucked. "You don't have to be nervous." He said grabbing her hand. "I know. I guess it's weird showing someone something I'm in."
"It's all good. You'll do great." He reassured her.
Atlas looked over to see someone coming and she pulled her hand back. Charlie didn't even move his head and grabbed his drink to act like he was reaching for it just in case the person looked at them.
He didn't want to risk it.
The lights went off and the movie started. During the entirety of the movie Atlas would glance at him to figure out if he was enjoying it or not.
It was weird at first, showing someone she deeply cares for a movie that is good, just is a psychological thriller.
She knew what she was showing him. Atlas just didn't know if he'd like it or find it too strange. But as the movie went on she felt more comfortable.
After the movie was done they threw out their trash and walked out of the theater. Atlas stopped a few time to take pictures with fans.
They back to the car. After they got in and they just sat there in silence.
Atlas looked over at him, he was just staring at the counsel. "So, what'd you think?" She asked.
Charlie opened his mouth and then closed it."It was...something." He said and Atlas laughed. He looked at her. "I mean it was a good movie but I'm so confused." He said.
"I was that way when I read the script. But I think for others you have to watch it a few times to understand." She said.
He nodded his head. "Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to do that." He said. "I do have a question though." He said.
Atlas nodded. "Go ahead."
"At the end. Does Alice get out of Victory? And what happens to Charlotte? What happens to the men at the end?" He asked.
Atlas smiled and shook her head. "I don't know. The director didn't say. She wanted it a mystery for us and the audience." She said.
"Okay." Charlie said. "But what do you think happened?" He asked her back. "I can't say. I want it to be a complete mystery."
"Babe, please." He said, leaning into her. She shook her head. "Nope." Atlas said, leaning into him too. "I'll just annoy you into telling me." He said, his eyes moving over her face.
She pushed him back. "I'll tell you another day just not right now." She said, staring the car and driving away.
