It wasn't the best day ever, i mean it wasn't bad or anything just a gloomy kinda day. It was stiff outside and rainy, no sun shining or laugher outside. This was a crapy day off for the ninja, well it wasn't even a day off. They just got done a mission and at just say down in the park under a roof to take shelter from the rain. The mission was quick and easy, just some thief's trying to rob a bank.
Lloyd sighed and put his head on the table that they were all sat in "still thinking about it?" Kai asked putting his arm around the blonde boys back and pulling him closer, Cole sat on the other side of Lloyd and he started to rub his back. he answered with a simple "yeah.."

The mission had may been easy but it wasn't like any other one, usually all the ninja did or had to do was knock the dude out, injured them a bit or trap them to get the crook to stop fighting. But Lloyd had accidentally injured the boss of the crooks to far and they didn't know if he would live or not
"I feel so bad, i should have watched my strategy and strength!" He blamed himself, Kai took a look at Cole with a sadness "Lloyd it wasn't yourself fault.." the water ninja reassured from the other side of the table, Jay agreed and continued "plus.. that does mean your getting stronger..!" Nya hit him on the head with her hand as the others just gave him the death glare, Zanes hand landed onto Lloyds before he spoke "i guarantee he will be ok Lloyd" He lied, he knew it was a good time to use a 'white lie' as Kai calls it. Lloyd lifted his head up and looked around at his friends then stopped at Zane "y-you think so?" He was so butt hurt about this one, and knowing Zane he doesn't lie so the green ninja believed him right away "yup!" Zane swallowed back a lump in his throat, he felt bad for lying. The worried ninja smiled and sighed with relief "why don't we get ice cream!" Nya suggested as she stood up "YES!!" Jay, Lloyd and Cole all screamed, food lovers.. Kai and Nya shook their heads and smiled, "ill stay here" the red ninja said resting his head on the table in front of him "oh, same!" Cole sat back down and moved to where Lloyd was sitting, beside Kai. The 4 all looked at each other with a smirk, Zane shook his head and told the others he'd also stay.

When Jay, Nya and Lloyd left to get some ice cream Kai lifted his head up and grabbed the small weapon that was wrapped around his thigh "wanna play a game?" He asked out of boredom, Zane raised an eyebrow and looked at the small knife Kai was holding "depends.." he muttered, Kai snickered and started to carve a
tik-tak-toe board into the wood table
"Ohhhh" Zane and Cole both hummed and chuckled "yeah sureee.. uh, what are you doing?" Cole watched as Kai made more then 5 lines, it looked like a really big Tik-Tak-Toe board now
"Making it so we can all play!" He answered, Zane shrugged and took out his small knife as well did Cole
"Im X" the brunette declared "ill be O then" Zane started to carve out an O
"Uh ill be.." Cole looked up at the roof they were under to think "oh! Ill be triangle then" he looked back down at the table, Zane finished his O as Cole started to carve out his shape in the corner of the board. They both waited for Kai when the earth ninja finally finished, but he seemed.. distracted?

"Uh Kai?" Zane called out waving his hand in front of the boys gaze, but he didn't stop looking. The two other ninja both looked at each other before following Kais eyes and also looking.
There sat a big bush behind the picnic area they were at, it wasn't to far away and it wasn't to big but also wasn't small. Thats what they guessed Kai was looking at sense it was the only thing really there, "Kai?" Cole called out, only for him to stand up and look closer. This worried the others a bit, he was so fixated on this bush.

Zane ticked at the feeling of something poking him in the back, then he ticked again, his time a few lighting bolts flung out of his eye and chest "Zane?" Cole freaked as well as Kai finally taking his eye off the bush "Zane?!" Just then the tin man slammed his head against the wood table and didn't get back up for make a sound. Only a few ticks, clicks, and sparks flashed off of him before just sitting dead silent on this table.
