Allegra woke up early in her room, dazed.
She blinked twice, yawned, and looked around. She got up out of her bed, and began to change into her school clothes.
Then she remembered Jason.
She ran out of her bedroom and into the living room. She was met by a strange sight...
A clean room.
As well as a post-it note stuck onto the fridge, reading:
Did some cleaning.
- Jason
Allegra blinked twice, then remembered the party. Part of her was mad at Jason for making her miss it, but at the same time...
Why the hell am I smiling...? thought Allegra.

Later that day, Jason found himself in the middle of a very uninteresting lecture. He analyzed the room. Allegra hadn't shown up yet.
Did I knock her out for good...? thought Jason.
Running footsteps approached from down the hallway.
Never mind, thought Jason.
Allegra burst into the room.
"I'm here!"
"Allegra!" exclaimed Mr. Sien enthusiastically. "You're a little late, but I'll let you off the hook. Take your seat and open to page 53!"
"Okay!" responded Allegra, with the same enthusiasm.
Allegra glanced quickly at Jason, who was staring outside.
She wrote something on a piece of paper, folded it into a paper airplane, and waited for Mr. Sien to turn around. Once he did, she threw it at Jason, to which he simply plucked it out of the air.
Thanks. For cleaning my room.
Jason wrote something down on the paper, and sent it back.
You're welcome. I felt bad, so I did it.
That's sweet that you felt bad for me.
Not for you, for your room.
Allegra crumpled the note and chucked it at Jason's head. Jason laughed to himself.
Rennard walked in shortly after. Klein walked over to him, and whispered something in his ear. As they spoke, they took turns eyeing Allegra and Jason.
I guess I got in the way of their plans... thought Jason.
Keeping the students safe isn't my main priority, though.

(One Day Before Asfalís' First Day)
Jason stood across the room from a jackass. An insensitive, ignorant, insolent piece of shit.
That man was also his father.
"Your time at Asfalís begins tomorrow, Jason." said Jason's dad.
"I know, sir." said Jason.
"However," Jason's dad got up. "You're going to do what I instructed you to do while you're there. Am I clear?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good." Jason's dad turned around.
"Starting tomorrow, you will begin your mission to destroy Asfalís Academy."
