The next few weeks after the café meetup proceeded as normal. Midterms were announced to take place October 13 at 15:00, so students would be giving up their precious free time to participate.

"Quiet please," said Mr. Sien after his class erupted into outrage over the test time. Mr. Sien's patience, although it had only been a month into school, was slowly dwindling. However, he maintained his collected and fun persona.

"Jared!" yelled out Rennard from the back, directed at Mr. Sien.

"Yes, Rennard?" Mr. Sien held his tongue as to not call Rennard any other names.

"Can I skip midterms?"

"Do you want to be expelled?"

Rennard displayed silence (for once).

"That's what I figured," said Mr. Sien.

The bell rang.

"Homework will be due at the end of the week! Given that today's Tuesday, that should give you plenty of time for-"

The school lights dimmed a deep red.

"Shit," cursed Jason.

The woman on the PA presented the school with her lovely voice.

- "Attention all Asfalís students and faculty, The Countdown to Bloodshed has begun. In two minutes, murder will be permitted. Please plan accordingly. Thank you!"

Rennard flashed Jason and Allegra a knife.

"You're dead, bitches."

Jason grabbed Allegra and sprinted down the chaotic hallway with her. She would normally struggle to keep up, however the thought of Rennard getting to her motivated her to move quickly.

"What percent is your phone?!" asked Jason, shoving students out of the way.

"Let me check!" she fished in her pocket, only to drop her phone as they were running.

"Jason! I dropped it!"

"Thirty seconds!," The woman on the PA exclaimed happily.

The hallway emptied quickly, many students already teleported back to their dorms.

Allegra turned around to retrieve the phone, however Jason held her back.

"What are you doing?!" she exclaimed, confused.

"Rennard!" Jason pointed. Rennard's spiky hair and smug grin waited around the corner for Allegra to get anywhere near her phone.

"What about your phone?!" asked Allegra.

Jason grabbed it out of his pocket. He pondered as to where they could teleport, which had to be a place they've both been to.

Allegra's room.

Jason shoved his phone onto Allegra's chest, which would've landed him a possible charge if it was any other girl.

"Look for the coordinates of your room! It should be in the location history!"

Bloodshed Begin!

Rennard turned the corner ahead of them with a gun.

"Gotcha, bitch!"

The bullet struck the locker behind them. Jason ran the opposite direction, still clutching Allegra's wrist.

"His aim's shit," Jason murmured.

Allegra found the coordinated and quickly pressed "Teleport". The only problem is, in order for the app to teleport multiple people, the phone must be in contact with the other person.

So, Allegra was teleported while Jason was stuck in the school without any means of getting out safely.
