"Lovely Wednesday, isn't it?"
Mr. Sien looked out the window and sipped his coffee happily. He seemed awfully joyous today. Jason presumed that it was because nobody in his class died from the Bloodshed.
"Yeah," said Allegra. Her hair glistened in the sunlight, which soon led to boys flocking towards her.
"Allegra, your hair looks nice today," said her friend Rose.
"Thank you! I went for a different look today. You like it?"
"She literally just said she did..." said Trevor.

"Well we didn't ask for your opinion, Trevor." Rose said smugly.
"Hold on," Allegra shot a friendly smile in between them, "Let's maybe not fight..."
"Well how about you quit being so harsh to us men?! You're friends with like, every girl here! Seriously, you know how many times we've tried to talk to any girl and you show up all 'Hey bestie, why don't we go walk in the other direction?'"
Many other boys in the class simultaneously nodded their heads in agreement.
Rose looked at Trevor. She took a deep breath, and turned around.
"Glad I didn't need to de-escalate that," said Mr. Sien. "Why don't we jump into the lesson for today, then I'll give you the study guide for the final!"
The class grew confused, unsure why the study guide would be given so early.
Allegra raised her hand.
"Yes, Allegra?"
"Why are we getting the study guide so early?" she asked. "Finals are in two months."
"I know, but I feel you should have some more time to prepare," Mr. Sien said. He paused and looked at the study guide. "Actually, I'll just give you them now. See for yourselves."
Jason peered at the study guide.
