"Do we even get a say in all of this?" asked Trevor.
Jason stared ahead at the darkened forest. The students were instructed to meet up at Tanaka Forest outside. Cherry blossoms bloom during the spring, however in early winter a frozen hell.
The final exams are also one of the only times when the students get to meet other classes during school hours.
A student in another class called out to Jason's.
"Hey, bitches!" a boy with green hair from class 132 called out. "Get ready to be absolutely shat on!"
"No swearing," Mrs. Plump, class 132's teacher said. "Not yet."
"Here's the final," said Mr. Sien.
"Every day for the next five days there will be sixty green flags hidden in the forest, three red flags, and one white flag."

GREEN FLAG - GUARANTEED SAFE
RED FLAG - ATTEMPT TO EXPEL SOMEONE ELSE

Worried murmurs erupted from the crowd.
"W-Wait!" stuttered Rose. "This is just a game? Our lives are revolving around a shitty game!"
"Life is a game," said Mrs. Plump. "Here at Asfalís, it's played in our own way."
The boys from class 132 perked up. They shot smirks at each other, then glances at the girls in Jason's class, 131.
Jason stared back at them.
"No violence is permitted," continued Mr. Sien. "If you are caught, it's an instant expulsion."
Rennard stared at Jason. This would be his revenge.
Allegra's hands trembled. She was unsure what she would do.
"Exam starts in 5 minutes," said Mrs. Cobalt, Class 133's teacher.
"Prepare," said Mr. Sien.

"You will not walk out of here alive."
Jason stared back at him.
"Maybe I won't, but we both have equal chance," he snapped back.

The boy with green hair looked at Allegra.
"Let's target her first..."
"There's cameras though..."
"Not in the forest, dumbass..."
