Moxxie, Millie and Loona were all in the meeting room, waiting for Blitzø. Loona on her phone as usual and Moxxie and Millie were talking to each other. Blitzø was more late than usual, it was weird but all they could do was wait for him until Blitzø finally entered the room after a while of waiting for him.

"You're late, sir" Said Moxxie with his usual overly-formal and passive aggressive tone.

"Yeah, I know," Blitzø replied, not caring about his tone, "But I had a reason to be late."

"Last time you were late, it was because you were arguing with a barista at a coffee shop." The passive aggressive tone only grew.

"Well, Moxxie, it isn't my fault that they make coffee that tastes like piss," he argued, "but anyway, what I wanted to say was that you have a new colleague."

As if I suddenly came into existence, Moxxie realized that I was in the room this whole  time.

"You're telling me that you hired a random guy off the street?" Moxxie said disapprovingly.

"Quite rude! But if it calms you down, I had an interview with Blitzø whilst you were all waiting," I replied pretending to sound offended.

"Exactly Moxxie, you need to seriously learn how to be more respectful towards our new colleague," Blitzø added self-righteously.

Moxxie, on the other hand, didn't appreciate the joke and rolled his eyes.

"Moxxie, don't be so miserable," Said Millie as she giggled slightly, "anyways, hi, My name is Millie."

"Hi, my name is Darcy," I replied.

"Darcy? That's a fucking dumb name," Loona said as she continued to stare into her screen.

I looked over towards Loona with a gaze of judgment. "Didn't know that dogs could speak. I guess we learn something new every day." I wasn't going to let that comment slide.

"The FUCK did you say to me!?" Shouted Loona as she lunged out of her seat and violently pointed a finger at me.

"Whoa whoa whoa! That is NOT how we talk to MY daughter," Blitzø interrupted, hugging Loona to calm her down. Loona reluctantly did so.

"Okay, now," Blitzø said as he let go of her, "I have to go talk to a customer about a job that they're hiring us so, meeting dismissed or whatever the fuck the real word is."

"But sir, you've literally just got here, we haven't even talked about anything!" Moxxie protested.

"I know." Blitzø left the room.

Moxxie could only sigh in exasperation and disappointment as he saw Blitzø leave the room. I went to an available seat and sat down silently, unsure of what to do or say. It was a bit awkward being the only one who wasn't familiar with anyone so I stayed silent for a bit. It wasn't until Millie started to ask me questions till I started to speak.

"So what got you into this job?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, I just needed a job and this seemed fun enough, I guess. How about you?" I asked. (Didn't want to tell them too much).

"Well I for one like to kill, just something that I did a bit back where I grew up." Her enthusiasm was both worthy of being jealous of and only a bit unnerving.

"That's nice!" I replied friendly.

A few moments of awkward silence passed before Moxxie start to ask me questions.

"So what can you do?" He asked as he leaned over the table towards me.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"What are your skills? Can you do anything," Moxxie clarified in a peculiarly annoying condescending way.

"..." I really didn't appreciate his tone as I glared at him.

Moxxie became visibly became uneased and disturbed.

"Well, if you really want to know, obviously I can work with guns but my skills in guns are basic and either way I prefer to use a mallet for my crimes. I can also do hand-to-hand combat quite well." I swapped back to my casual persona the moment I replied; nonchalant and jolly.

"Ah- yes... That seems... Great." He was still flustered from my harrowing stare. (Amusing).

As we waited for the arrival of Blitzø, I learned back into my chair and started to twiddle my thumbs. Moxxie and Millie were both chatting with each other lovingly. It took me a while to realize but just by looking at them you could see that they're a couple, a cute one at that. On the other side was Loona who kept scrolling through her phone. I looked around the room to see if anything was of value of my attention but at best there was only a clock and a whiteboard. Finally, Blitzø reentered the room with the demand of attention.

"We've got a new target," he spoke as he slammed his hand on the table.
