"Does he not have a set time to come in?" Taehyung mumbled to Jimin as he cleaned the bar while the other was restocking the alcohol bottles on the shelves.

Jimin just sighed, "Sometimes he comes right when we open like now, or when we're about to close and throws a fit if we tell him we aren't taking anymore orders."

"I can't wait," Taehyung sarcastically replied, "This is my last training shift before I start officially,"

"Do you know what you're gonna spend your training shift money on?"

"Don't I get that included in my overall paycheque? Which is so far away," Taehyung frowned at that. Suddenly all the things he desperately needed to buy flashed through his head causing a dreadful feeling to run through his body, "Kind of wish I didn't run away from home because at least I had food."

"The owner gives the training money before the actual check so that you can buy the uniform and stuff," Jimin curiously stared at the boy who cheered at that, "Why did you runaway?"

"My dad was kind of a dickhead," Taehyung shrugged, "I wonder why Jeongguk ran way, I'd ask him but I feel like he'd get all mad and sensitive."

"It probably was something really bad if he turned out like that."

Taehyung hummed and leaned against the counter with a sigh, "I wonder what he's doing right now."

"Drugs probably." Jimin replied. He hadn't met the guy, but from the way Taehyung talked about him he felt like he knew everything.

"I doubt it, yesterday when I came home he high off his mind and terrified- he literally slept in my bed and I had to sleep in his room which stunk of weed." Taehyung rubbed his temples in frustration, "I barely got any sleep, on top of that I haven't eaten in god knows how long."

"What? Taehyung that's not good, have you drank water at least?" Jimin immediately stopped what he was doing and worriedly turned to the boy who nodded.

"Thankfully the water in the house works and looks clean, I just got the heating to work so I have two main things sorted out. Just don't have money to buy groceries yet."

"Do you want me to lend you anything? I can give you some money or-"

"No no, I'll feel really bad if you do that. Plus if I'm getting training money I'll buy some food that should be enough until the end of the month." Taehyung sweetly smiled at the boy who hummed still unsure.

"I'll be back, need to get something from the staff room." Jimin smiled before wiping his hands on his uniform and heading towards the door. His eyes scanned the room until the landed on the man sitting at a table with some food in front of him, "Jin-"

"Jimin, do you think chef did a good job at this dish? Try some," Jin picked up a fork, holding it in the air for the other try who slowly walked over.

"What the fuck is that?" Jimin frowned before taking a hesitant bite, "Ew what the fuck?!"

"It's supposed to be seafood but tasted like fish food. We need a new chef," Jin tutted, "Do you know if that new hire cooks?"

"Oh I actually came here to talk about him," Jimin sat down in front of the man who raised his eyebrows and slowly put down his fork, "You know how Namjoon is my best friend and if you don't listen to me I could get him to break up with you?"

"I don't like where this is doing." Jin crossed his arms and leaned further back into the chair.

"Give Taehyung more money for his training shift. He lives in that broken down house in all those trees and has no food or bottled water- the tap water in that house is definitely contaminated. £50 is not enough if he's buying the uniform along with groceries for the rest of the month." Jimin sternly stated.
