"Stop rambling and tell me where you are," Jeongguk spoke angrily, walking around aimlessly as Taehyung was not giving any clear answers.

"I told you I'm behind a tree!" Taehyung whisper yelled.

"Am I supposed to know every fucking tree in this town? Oh my God, just send me your live location already."

"What if I'm busy doing that and he gets me?"

"I hope he does, you're pissing me off with your stupidity- I told you to call 999 if you're getting kidnapped not me." Jeongguk kicked around and pulled his phone away from his ear when he saw that Taehyung had finally sent his location.

You're kidding. Jeongguk raised his eyebrows when he saw that Taehyung was just 5 minutes away from hiding out in one of the trees along the path.

"You're 5 minutes away from the path that takes you home, you could've legged it back."

"Oh yes so smart! I should've legged with glass in my hands and big boxes, and also let the kidnapper chase me back to the very place I live so he can stalk me or get me in my sleep." Taehyung sarcastically responded and let out a small whine after, "I wanna go home."

"Alright I'm coming, Christ. Is that guy still there?" Jeongguk began to walk towards the boy, speeding up a little when he heard whimpers on the other phone.

"Yes, I can see him a little bit walking around trying to look for me."

"Jesus, one desperate guy. Is it that guy from the party? I swear I gave him fentanyl."

"Wait what."

"What?" Jeongguk mentally screamed.

"You did what? You have some guy fent? You know that kills people?"

"Did I say fent or did I say...benz? Like benzo-"

"You said fentanyl."

"I'm here," Jeongguk lowered his phone and looked around for the strange man that was lurking about. At first he didn't see anything, and then he heard some sniffling further into the trees, must be Taehyung.

He also began to follow the sound, frowning when he what he saw was a fully grown man venturing deep into the trees. So, without wasting any time he extended his tatted hand and grabbed the man by his shoulder and spun him around.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Looking for boys to kidnap?" Jeongguk stepped closer and held him by the collar tightly.

"No-no I-I just-" The man stuttered trying to find a response that would cover up his dark reasons, "I-I was just going on a walk-"

"We'll go on a walk back to your fucking house and never show your face again because trust me if I see you ever again I'm gonna a make sure the last thing you ever see is my fist." Jeongguk roughly let go of him which is when the stranger bolted in the opposite direction.

Taehyung let out a loud sigh of relief and stepped out from behind the tree that was right beside Jeongguk, "Thank you so much!"

Jeongguk froze when the other threw himself into his chest and tightly wrapped his arms around the elders waist, "Um, your welcome, now get off and let's go back."

"Okay, let me get the boxes again," Taehyung hurriedly ran behind the tree to pick up all the new window panes a frames, struggling a bit when he picked up more than two.

Jeongguk tutted and walked over. He silently took two boxes which made it much easier for Taehyung. He glanced down at the boy, slowly smiling when he saw the boys wide eyes from still being shaken up and how his lips were slightly parted as he was ready to speak.

"Why were you in a bad mood this morning?" Was the question he did not expect to hear. He was expecting Taehyung to vent about how terrified he was and how he almost most likely ended up sex trafficked or locked up in a basement.

"Oh, um," Jeongguk debated if he should bother speaking about it, but a large part of him had always wanted somebody to turn to about his issues. He was desperate to be told his way of thinking was rational, and to have someone comfort him for once instead of telling him he'd learn his lesson.

"Hm?" Taehyung looked up at him again, eyes now twinkling as they passed by streetlights.

"It was because of my dad," He slowly started of, "He somehow managed to call me and he started convincing me to go back home to my psychotic mother and it kind of just reminded me of all the things I went through."

"Oh," Taehyung frowned deeply, "It must've been really hard with a mum like that- you know it's not her fault she's like that but it doesn't excuse how she treats people."

"Exactly, but my dad doesn't get that and just tells me I'll understand how it feels when I love someone one day- who said my future boyfriend is gonna have psychosis and beat me and run away from me?" Jeongguk rolled his eyes at the memory of his father saying that to him, clenching his jaw a little in anger.

"I mean he might not have psychosis, but maybe something else? Like trust issues and stuff so he constantly runs away and shuts away." Taehyung replied hesitantly not wanting to say something that would upset the elder.

"I guess, I mean I'd rather deal with anything than someone like my mother," Jeongguk mumbled and looked up from the floor to see they were nearing their home, "Are you okay by the way? You almost got kidnapped there and just completely moved on."

Taehyung just shrugged, "Shit happens.

"Fucking hell. Well, okay, take these inside I'm gonna have a cigarette before I sleep," Jeongguk passed the two boxes over to Taehyung who quietly whined at the weight increasing.

"Um," Taehyung nervously bit his lip, "Are you gonna sleep in your own room tonight?" He asked. Please say no, I'm still scared. What if he gets me in my sleep?

"Yeah, I'm not tweaking out right now so you can have your sad little bed back- seriously, get some proper bedding."

Taehyung forced a laugh, "I will. Goodnight."

"Night, angel." Jeongguk smirked when he saw the immediate disgust and annoyance in the boys face before he walked back inside.

Jeonnguk just shook his head and chuckled, taking out his almost empty pack of cigarettes. He stared at the two cigarettes pressed up against each other for a few seconds as he thought over Taehyung's question.

Oh, he wanted me to sleep with him.
