Chapter 12 Not Yet

Third person pov.

Eyes wide open and body stiff like a bored, Freya sat there watching the almost ending of the second Hunger Games movie; not wanting to move a muscle.

Through the quarter of the second movie being put on, Wally West was done eating and now was just falling slowly asleep.

Wally fought it though. He wanted to watch the movies, hang with his friends, laugh and all, but he had to fight to keep his eyes open and stop his head from falling forward or backwards because he was drifting off to dreamland.

He did a good job for a bit, however eventually his tiredness took over and won, and it ended with his eyes finally staying shut, and his head falling forward, but through time, his body drifted to the side and then he got comfortable, and by that, he really got comfortable through time.

Wally West's head is now resting on Freya. Not just that, through the time of getting comfortable. His body was semi laying on its side with his arm snuck behind Freya's back.

Well when he started moving to get comfortable, Freya moved a bit forward making a gap behind her, but she panicked because his head moved
on her shoulder and she didn't want him to move, wake up or his head to fall, so she leaned back, but the move was enough time for him to sneak his arm behind her.

To a sleeping Wally, the feeling of wrapping his arms around something was very heavy in his sleeping mind, that he was doing so.

At this point, Wally was holding and cuddling up to Freya upper half of her body with his head resting on her arm and sort of her side with her arm slightly on him or the back of the couch.

Freya just stays there now, wrapped in the arms of one of her soulmates; loving every minute of it, but also feeling like shit too. But she knows if she moves her eyes away from the tv, they would land onto Artemis and that won't end well for her.

Artemis couldn't dig her nails any deeper in the couch as she stares daggers at Freya. She's jealous of what she's seeing happening. She wanted to get up and use the bathroom, but she didn't want to leave Wally and Freya alone.

Oh how much she wished and wanted to be in Freya's spot right now. To be held by Wally like that again. To feel his breath hit her neck, even though at those times she was annoyed by it, but now, now she actually missed it. She kinda craves it.

The last time he held her was two weeks ago. Something happened though, two weeks ago. She knows that for sure. She just didn't know why he wasn't ‘acting’ like she knew ‘him’ to be.

Whenever she tried to hold his hand, he would pull it away from her, even when it came to placing a hand on his body, he would just shrug her off him, he'd say something about ‘not now’ or ‘please don't’. Same when it came down to kissing him or him kissing her. Kissing him or him kissing her was off the table from the start there, and she couldn't understand why he was being this way.

Three weeks ago, ‘whenever’ she wanted some fun or to be held by him, he was there. He was just a call away from him showing up to her apartment or her room in mount justice and they would have their fun.

She doesn't care that most of the time he holds her, touches her, or kisses her; that he's craving for the real thing, craving for his soulmate.

She knows and ‘doesn't’ care that he technically is being selfish using her for the comfort of something he can't have.

However, she couldn't technically be mad at him, she's using him too, she was being selfish too. He's her toy, that she ‘had’ under her finger, again he was just a call away for her.

All she had to do was ring him up, say something like how much she needs him, needs him inside her and how much she wants him to hold her.

He'll be there fast. Well depending on what he's doing at the time, there were a lot of times that she’ll call and he didn't even pick up or flat out say no or another time, then hang up fast.

The hatred for Freya at the moment got even stronger as Wally digs his sleeping face in Freya's rib even more. Seeing her face go red and look down at him with the look that she gives him now, was something that made Artemis get even more jealous and mad.

She's taken a liking to him, and the attention he used to give her even though she's using him too, she just didn't want it to end, not yet at least. So seeing him flirt with others, especially Freya, she gets jealous and mad about it, but she can't do anything about it; they weren't actually a thing, they weren't an actual couple.

She was born without a soulmate, and she was fine with that, but then she wasn't. She fell for someone who's born with a soulmate, something she told herself never to do, but she did. With that… she didn't know if she should fight for him; she's just been hoping he would reject his soulmate for her, but deep down she knew he would never do that.

With that, all she could do was glare and dig her nails in the couch she sat on,  waiting for the right moment to get in the spot Freya sat in.

Freya sat there looking down to Wally with red cheeks. His grip on her got tighter, this made her face heat up even more.

He was so cute to her. The way he scrunches up his face as he gets comfortable was adorable.

Oh she's loving this, but shouldn't indulge in this feeling for too long.

“If you rub/scratch your fingers through his hair, he'll love you forever.”
