Chapter 18 ~ weekend plans ~

The rest of the week passed with no further incidents and Phon assumed he had finally gotten through to Kao Kappanajong because the guy hadn't shown his face since the confrontation in the office.

He felt like an asshole for hurting him but he would keep pushing and pushing with that smart mouth of his. He hadn't meant to kiss him either but seeing his face like that, the pale, delicate skin of his throat, he just hadn't been able to hold back and he hated himself for it.

If Kao had reported him, he would have been in serious trouble with his superior at KJS but luckily the guy hadn't said anything, probably too afraid to but at least it seemed he'd learnt his lesson and was leaving Kallan and Chai Son alone.

He had the weekend off because Kallan was travelling to see Chai Son so he had told him he could stay at his apartment in his absence but he needed to go and make sure his own place was ok.

It was mid Friday afternoon and Kallan called Phon into his office to tell him that he was taking off early so he could drive to Chai Son's place before it got too dark. Kallan had already packed a bag so he didn't need to go back to his apartment so Phon escorted him to his car.

"will you text me when you arrive safely?" Phon had asked him.

"of course, thank you Phon" Kallan had smiled at him, they had become good friends since Phon had started working for him.

Phon watched as his boss drove away in the brand new 4x4 he had treated himself to and when he couldn't see the SUV anymore he sighed and walked across to his own car. He'd never met Kallan's fiancé but he hoped he treated him well because Kallan was a good man.

He wondered how Kappanajong was doing then he became angry with himself for thinking about that brat. Looking at the time he saw it was 3.20pm, he would go back to Kallan's place, grab his dirty laundry and take it back to his own condo.

He may as well get some jobs done before going out with the boys tonight, Richie was back from his extended leave so it should be a good night.

Meanwhile Kallan made it to Chai Son's house just in time for an early dinner, he hadn't told Chai Son he was driving up today, he wanted it to be a surprise and he hadn't told him about his new 4x4 either so when he pulled slowly into the yard he wasn't surprised when Chai Son looked up from the car he was working on with a curious expression on his face.

Climbing out of the SUV, Kallan smiled again as he saw recognition take hold,

"hey sweet thing, I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow" Chai Son beamed as he strode towards his fiancé while wiping his dirty hands on an even dirtier rag.

"I missed you, what can I say" Kallan said.

"I want to hug you baby but I'm filthy" Chai Son said.

"I don't care, come here" Kallan replied pulling him forward and jumping into Chai Son's arms.

"I've missed you so much baby" Chai Son said as he kissed his little monkey.

"mmm let's go take a shower then" Kallan said.

Chai Son didn't need asking twice as he carried Kallan up the steps of his porch and kicked off his work boots before carrying him through to the bathroom where they greeted each other properly. 

Several hours later as they laid on the bed playing with each other's fingers, Kallan asked Chai Son how his week had been.

"busy, but ya' know, I enjoy it so ... how about you" Chai Son shrugged.

"the same, busy but interesting. I followed your fathers advice and hired a security guard, he's been staying with me in the apartment"

"excuse me?"
