~ epilogue ~

Chai Son and Kallan had been engaged and dating for a few months now and they had been taking turns visiting each other, it was working well but Chai Son felt unsettled, he knew they couldn't go on like this long term.

He missed Kallan so much during the week and wanted them to live together but he was afraid to bring the matter up in case Kallan felt he was pressuring him and decided to end things.

Chai Son had finally met Phon on one of his weekend visits to the city and he didn't like him at first, he was very handsome and macho and he and Kallan got on far too well for his liking.

He was sick with jealousy that Phon actually got to see Kallan more than he did, even worse that he was living with Kallan in his apartment. He fucking hated it but had to keep reminding himself that they were just good friends.

His relationship with his parents had improved somewhat since introducing them to Kallan and at least once a month they insisted on he and Kallan presenting for a family dinner and Kallan kept his father entertained with business news and gossip.

Kallan hadn't seen Kao again nor did he contact him respecting Chai Son's wishes, he had expected Kao to call him after a while but he never did. He had been ready to ask Kao why he hadn't mentioned that he was Chai Son's ex but he hadn't had that opportunity.

The building work on the factory was coming along nicely and Phon's boss Chit had recommended KJ Holdings to do the building work for him, they were very professional, honest and discreet after all, Kiri Junphanatat the C.E.O demanded no less from all his people.

Kallan could sense that Chai Son was getting impatient to know what was going on but if he could just pacify him for a few more weeks, everything would be revealed.

Chai Son had been aware that building work was being undertaken at the factory because hoarding had gone up all around the perimeter a few months ago but when he talked to his neighbors they all seemed very tight lipped saying they didn't know what was happening.

He was anxious for the weekend to arrive because he was driving down to the city and Kallan had said he had something to tell him, he just hoped it was nothing bad.

By Friday afternoon, he was a nervous wreck and the closer he got to the city, the worse he felt.

When he finally arrived at Kallans apartment he let himself in because Kallan and Phon hadn't returned home yet and he took his bag through to Kallan's bedroom then he took a quick shower to wash away the grime from travelling.

It was around 5.30pm when he heard the beeps sound from Kallan's security keypad then a few seconds later he heard his baby's voice.

"Chai Son, I'm home" Kallan called out.

"hey cutie, it's so good to see you" Chai Son said.

He walked towards Kallan and they kissed enthusiastically until Chai Son pulled back and asked where the bodyguard was?

"oh, I dropped him at his place so that we could be alone" 

Chai Son was even more nervous now, what the hell was Kallan going to tell him that he needed them to be alone?

"I booked us a table at xxxx restaurant at 8pm so we have an hour or so" Kallan said smiling suggestively.

"then what are we waiting for" Chai Son said scooping Kallan up and carrying him through the apartment before depositing him on his bed where they proceeded to pass the time.

A while later they both showered and got dressed for dinner, Chai Son had let his men know that he would be in the city so when they walked out of Kallan's apartment his security where ready and waiting to escort them both to the restaurant.
