"You ready for the big game today" I asked Matt as we walked down to last period he shrugged "yea I'm a bit nervous but it's normal"

"No need to be nervous the team has you and Chris you guys will most definitely win" I reassured him he gives me a smile and we walk into class

I picked up Sophia since she wanted to see the game as-well and we were now sitting in the bleachers next to Marylou and jimmy waiting for the game to start once it did we were already winning due to Matt blocking a goal

I watched him intensely seeing how much effort he really put into the sport

Matt's pov
I'm waiting at the goal and I see Makenna watching me from the stands she has a wide smile and even if I'm not doing much yet she still looking at me her hair blowing perfectly due to the small wind, next to her is Gracie who is looking at the game her eyes roams around and spots mine she smiles waving and I wave back

I have to break it off with her so she doesn't get hurt in the end I return my focus to the game and the opposite team is about to score on me but I quickly jump defending the ball and throwing it to Chris who runs the crowd cheer and I see Makenna high fiving Amelia

by the end of the game we had won and my friends and mom and dad ran up to me "you boys did amazing" my mom said hugging me and Chris and my dad after her after everybody hugs me Makenna walks up after hugging Chris and hugs me

I can smell her cherry scent and I can't help but smile when I feel her hug get tighter before letting go "can't believe you actually did good expected you to choke and let the other team score" she jokes I rolled my eyes playfully pushing her away

"We're gonna see you boys at the restaurant to enjoy your big win" my dad says as he and mom walks away to the car

we were about to start walking until..
"YO THATS THE SLUT I WAS TALKING ABOUT" we hear chino say as he and his group walks past us Makenna looks over at them hurt and annoyance on her face "fuck off chino" she flips them off while the rest of the boys oo

"What? Don't want to be called out for what you are slut" he called her it again I was really about to punch this kid in his fucking face until everybody seen Makenna walk up and slapped him

it was silent until we heard another slapping sound and a bunch of people saying oo again

He slapped her

And then pushed her back so she fell all the way into Chris that was about enough for me to throw a punch at him dead in his face his nose started bleeding hysterically while he threw a punch at me but missed I punched him again and he fell

He got back up punching me and I can feel the stinging in my eye

"OH SHIT MATT BEAT HIS ASS" I hear Sophia yell I started punching him a whole bunch until I felt some body pull me off when I look it was coach and he looked pissed a bunch of people were around us phones out and some with a look of shock

"EVERYBODY GO HOME! STURNIOLO AND PEREZ COME WITH ME" he yelled while chinos friend was holding him back i smirked seeing how his face was way worse than mine

3rds pov
"Yo matt beat his ass" Landon exclaimed while they waited inside the car Makenna felt her face feeling it and it stinging a bit "you ok mak?" Nick asked the girl she nodded her head yes and sighed Matt didn't have to get in a fight over her and now he might get suspended and kicked off the team

Gracie was silent looking out of the window until she seen Matt walk up to the door and get in the drivers seat "so what did coach say" Chris asked

"He left me off with a warning since this was my first time doing some thing like this and I'm a honoroll student"
