prom is coming up and everybody were doing all these promposals and makenna was getting sick of it she found it cute but way to sappy she'd be fine with flowers and a kiss

she walks to lunch finding her friends laughing and giggling at some thing liyu said she was sitting on miles lap while amelia was laying on ian's shoulder and nick and chris and matt on the opposite

she sat down groaning while they asked her what's wrong "jason asked out emma during passing period and had all this confetti and shit and they got all over me since i was right next to her" she complained matt took out some confetti out her hair

he knew how much she hated promposals since she thought it was so stupid and corny he wasn't ever gonna be caught asking her out in such way unless she really liked it but thank god she doesn't

"i didn't have to ask you right" matt mumbled in her ear she smiled and rolled her eyes "nah i was thinking of going with a completely different person other than my boyfriend" she mumbled back he rolled his eyes smiling and taking out his phone

amelia and ian gave each other a kiss and nick almost had a heart attack "fucking gross i hate the amount of pda in this group" nick shares "i agree nick it's way to much" matt agreed setting his phone down that just made chris laugh out loud

"matt we've walked in on you guys making out and cuddling over 30 times in the span of 3 weeks" chris said makenna rolled her eyes

"chris you'll see how it feels when you and cathrine get together" makenna said

cathrine is the girl that texted matt off makennas phone chris thought she was gorgeous and he begged makenna for 3 whole days to put him on and she finally did and now they've been talking for a bit

"oh shit i definitely wanna ask her out for prom but i don't if she's the big flashy type of girl" chris said

they helped chris more but matt really just wanted to be alone with the girl they usually sneak off and go into this secrete room the group found a month ago and they usually go there just to talk with each other

"you wanna go to the back room" she whispered turning over to him it's like she read his mind he smiled and nodded

"we're gonna go see you guys after school" makenna said standing up the group gave a ok and they walked off to the room

"you know if i didn't like you so much i would've never came with you to your stalking spot" matt teased walking behind the girl she turned around jokingly rolling her eyes

"oh so you like me not love me wow i'm hurt that my feelings aren't reciprocated" she faked hurt by putting a hand on her heart

matt chuckled leaning closer and giving her a kiss she happily kissed back wrapping her hands around his back she pulled back

"maybe nick is right we do kiss a lot" she joked "i mean i have no problem with it i can kiss you everyday"

she laughed "ong your such a sap" she said pulling out her phone he jokingly pouted "only for you" he said in a high pitched voice she made a disgusted face

"i wanna think about breaking up" she said in a serious tone trying to scare him but she bursted out laughing before she can continue

"your not funny" matt said rolling his eyes they stayed there until last period came around and then school ended but nick and chris decided to go with landon claiming that they don't wanna hear all the flirting so makenna and matt just decided to go to some small restaurant since they were starving
