Makenna was on her couch sulking in sadness when she heard a knock at the door most people would be at school right now so she was confused on who would be at the door

She opened it to see Gracie she rolled here eyes and began to shut the door when her hand stops it "wait Makenna just listen" she starts

Makenna almost laughs why would she want to listen to her after she just ruined the best thing in her life right now

"I don't wanna talk to you go away" she said shutting the door again she hears Gracie takes a deep sigh she was about to sit back on her couch until Gracie speaks up "I used photos from when me and Matt were together and edited the date to make it seem like it was recently" she stopped in her tracks what.

She opens her door to see Gracie with a red face obviously from embarrassment "what did you just say." She said feeling the anger bubble in her "I know what I did was horrible and I did it because I was jealous he chose you instead of me so i edited the dates on the photo and sent them to you out of anger" she repeated guilty written all over her face

I took in a deep breath now feeling horrible he tried to tell me and I didn't listen

"Just listen to me"

"No. I'm done get out of my room"

"Well it's to late I already ruined me and Matt's relationship" she sighed Gracie looked down "no you guys still have another shot at this" she reasoned

Makenna shuts my eyes "no we don't I literally yelled at him to leave me alone and never talk to me again"

"And he still confronted me in the end whole reason I'm even here is because Matt knocked sense into me and I'd feel 30x worse if you guys don't make up" she says

Makenna stands there Matt confronted her about it? "Thank you for coming and apologizing Gracie" Makenna gives her a smile and she sends an apologetic one back and turns around to her car she shuts the door and goes back on the couch putting her knees to her chest again

She should've just let him talk why does she have to be so fucking stubborn she could be with Matt at lunch right now talking about some stupid shit or bickering with him but instead she's here on her couch

she needed more time to figure out her feelings for Matt she knows she likes him possibly love and what if he doesn't love her back that'd be embarrassing she was so stressed out and didn't know what to do so she did what she does best and ignored him

Matt was laying on his bed staring at the ceiling he sighed wishing that he had a certain brunette with him he felt bad for cursing at Gracie like that but she genuinely ruined some thing amazing and he will probably never forgive her for some thing like that

He hears a knock at his door and doesn't reply but the person comes in anyway "you good bro?" He hears Landon ask he mentally groans everybody's been asking

"no I just stay in my room everyday and stare at the ceiling for fun" he replied back sarcastically "yea I do that to sometimes"

"never over a girl tho" he said eyeing me I roll my eyes "it isn't just a girl" matt said quoting what he said he nods his head " your right it's not just a girl it's our bestfriend that we've known forever" he said sitting down on my bed

"And what happened man you use to be arguing with her making fun of her and all of a sudden you wanna be with her all the time and hug her and touch her?" Landon said Matt sighed knowing everything he's saying is true

"I don't know man it's like all those years I spent making fun of her and shit just completely flipped and now I feel like I'm in love with her"
