Christopher cupped the side of Abby's face and leaned in close. He pressed his lips to hers softly, then kissed her forehead and rested his forehead on hers, their noses touched. He took several slow breaths. He just wanted to feel her close, now that he knew that she was awake. His heart slowed, then he pulled away and gazed into her bright blue eyes.

"You scared me, Abby," he said.

"I'm sorry," she said softly and squeezed his hand.

"What happened?"

"I saw her, la Dame Verte, the Green Lady." She said as she sat up slowly.

"Why were you alone," he asked.

"We had a lot of areas to cover, so I went to the tower where she was said to be. Michelle and Erik were watching the monitors, it just all happened so fast." She drank some water from the glass that was on the side table and sighed.

"I thought you protected yourself from interactions like this, how did she possess you?" He had intertwined his fingers with her, his eyes fixed on her delicate fingers.

"I do, but she is full of so much rage that she was too powerful and she broke through all my protections," her breathing started to pick up as she remembered all that she saw when the Green Lady had taken possession of her body.

"Calm down baby," Christopher said as he wiped away the sweat that had formed on her face and neck. He cupped her face and made her look into his eyes so that she would focus and relax.

"I'm ok," she said softly, then kissed him.

"No more going back there unless you have more people, ok?" He said sternly. She just nodded at him.

"I promise."

Christopher climbed into bed with Abby and wrapped his arms around her, her head resting in the crook of his arm. His fingers ran through her hair, and the tips massaged her scalp gently, which lulled her back to sleep. They slept through the rest of the day and into the next morning. By then Abby felt much better and was ready to go over the videos and record evidence from the castle.

Her team had set up a couple of laptops and recorders with headphones at the large table adjacent to the kitchen. They went through the files as they waited for Abby and Christopher. Abby walked out of the kitchen with a tray of strawberry lemonade and set it on the table. Everyone took a glass, and Abby sat down at one of the laptops. She clicked through the files and pulled up the one from the tower. She wanted to see exactly what happened from the perspective of the camera.

"Are you sure you want to watch these?" She said as she looked at Christopher.

"Of course, I support you, so I need to know what you do." He said as he stood behind her, his hands on her shoulders.

"Here we go," she said as she clicked the file and the video pulled up, full screen, on the laptop.

After twenty minutes, Abby closed the file and turned to look at Christopher. He had gripped her shoulders as he watched the clip, and his breathing had quickened while he endured the entire twenty minutes. Abby turned her body and took his hands. This caused him to look into her eyes and she could tell that it affected him more than he thought it would.

"You alright babe," she asked.

"Ye.. yeah... was just not what I was expecting," he said as he took a deep breath and a gulp.

"Luckily Susan and Mikah got there when they did..." she was about to say everything that was in her thoughts, but she saw that Christopher became very tense, and she knew that he had begun to have very negative thoughts of all the worst case scenarios that he had spoke about in the past. She stood up and wrapped her arms around him.
