writing help pls!!

hi everybody!!

i hope you all are having a lovely february!!

here's a lil life update before i actually ask for advice, i have a boyfriend!! he's so sweet and he treats me so right i promise like all my friends love him he's so funny, my parents love him he buys me things he got me all my favorite things for valentine's day and me and him have already had hard conversations which would usually become arguments like they did in my last relationship but he is very understanding and we have not argued :)

ok just wanted to let yall know so i don't pop out in a few months and talk about him LOLLL

anyways here's what i came here for!!

my school is holding a black history month poetry slam during school hours on march 5, and i want to speak at it sense writing has always been my strong suit and as president of my class and the only class president of color in our school i feel like it is not only necessary but im not just doing it for that yk!

i will show you guys and please let me know your honest thoughts.

its definitely a sensitive topic for me because its not talked about much and it just feels a little scary to be one or the first to speak on it. its just definitely hard bc ive struggled with racism a lot especially having a majority of a white family.
