Even though national duty ended a few days ago, I haven't really seen Leah. I've been training away from the team recently as I told Jonas that, quite frankly, I don't want to help out if they're forcing me out.

But Jonas told me that I could have a few days away, but they needed me back for the Conti Cup finals.

The finals where I have to go against my ex.

What's funny is that we're playing Chelsea today, in the FA Cup as well, but as I am refusing to play, I've been left out of the team sheet, and I'm currently sat in the stands and Kingsmeadow with Viv and Beth.

Although Arsenal is already losing 1-0 after 21 minutes, so therefore my phone is considerably more interesting currently.

And by my phone, I mean I'm messaging Gio, as she's sat on the bench and has been told it's unlikely she'll be getting subbed on.

Vani ☺️
Jonas is going mental
down here, lol

Of course he is. This is
why you should be
playing 🫶

Vani ☺️
Our defence is shambles,
the only player who is
playing well in defence is
Leah.

That doesn't surprise me,
Beth and Viv are also
raging lmao

Vani ☺️
Jonas is glaring at me for
messaging someone, I
have to go 😞

If you come on, score a
goal for me 😉

Vani ☺️
Will do. I'll see you after,
you driving us back?

Yes! I'll drive us home,
see you later, G

I look up from my phone, laughing and shaking my head, making Beth and Viv both look at me, probably wondering what I'm laughing at.

I miss Jordan.

◇◇◇

I don't really pay attention at all for the rest of the game, and we end up losing 2-0, meaning we're out of the FA Cup.

Beth, Viv, and I have been called down to the pitch for the end of the match for the huddle or whatever, which is why I'm currently standing in between Gio and Viv, with my arm wrapped around Viv's waist, helping to hold her up.

Once Jonas has finished his talk, we all head over to where the away fans are, with Beth getting a piggyback from Leah and Viv getting one from me.

I notice that there are people in the stands with Spanish shirts on, making me smile as I put Viv down and walk over to them.

"Adriana! Cuándo vuelves a Barcelona?" One of them ask me as I approach them, making me laugh slightly. If only they knew... (Adriana! When are you coming back to Barcelona?)

"No lo sé, por ahora soy jugador del Arsenal." I reply as they both turn around to expose that one of them has my shirt on, and the other has Ona's.
(I don't know, for now I'm an Arsenal player.)

"Puedes firmar nuestras dos camisetas?" The girl with my shirt asks me, making me smile and nod at her, taking the marker pen out of her hand. (Can you sign both of our shirts?)

"Incluso el de Ona?" I ask, making sure the other girl nodding at me. (Even the Ona one?)

Once I'm done, I walked away from them, with a smile on my face before my eyes met multiple people I wasn't expecting to see.

"Alexia! Maria! Ingrid!" I greet them with a smile on my face, jumping the barriers as I see them and pull them into a hug.

"Hola Adi." Mapi says, pulling me into a hug. This makes Ingrid hit her girlfriend, telling her to speak in English.

Before we can say anything else, though, I feel someone come over and jump the barriers, pulling us all into a hug.

"Gio!" I scold her with a laugh, wrapping an arm around her waist in the process.

"Hola chicas." Gio says to them, smiling as she leans up to ruffle my hair up, causing me to roll my eyes.

Gio continues to talk to them as I turn around and see Leah talking to someone in the crowd, leaning close to them and smiling widely at them.

I turn to my friends and tell them I'll be back before making my way over to Leah and wrapping my arms around her waist from behind.

"Dria!" She says, smacking my hands away, causing me to frown.

"Are you going to introduce me to your friend?" I say, looking up at the woman she was talking to.

I instantly notice that she's wearing an England shirt instead of an Arsenal one, which causes me to raise an eyebrow, as it's not just any England shirt. It's one of Leah's.

When I say one of Leah's, I mean one of her matchworn shirts, more specifically the one from the Arnold Clark Cup final against Belgium that was a few days ago.

Who is this woman?

"This is Stacey. She works with the England team, and she's just joined Arsenal as well, but she's not starting until next week. She's part of the medical team." Leah explains.

That still doesn't explain the shirt?

I nod in response before offering a hand to her to shake, Stacey quickly accepting it before dropping it as soon as she could.

"Le, do you want to..." I begin saying before Leah cuts me off.

"I have plans, Adriana, I'll see you soon, yeah?" She says, making me frown.

I haven't even had the chance to tell her I'm leaving Arsenal at the end of the season yet as she's being so distant. I just want to make the most of our time together.

"Oh. Okay." I reply, looking down at the floor, clearly annoyed, making Leah turn to look at me.

"Don't be like that, Adriana, we have all the time in the world together, we don't have to spend every minute of every day together." She spits out, which hurts even more than it should do.

Who is this, and what has she done to my girlfriend?

"But we-"

"Pretty sure she told you she didn't want to spend time with you, so leave her alone." Stacey tells me, making me frown before nodding and turning away.

As soon as I turn away, I feel an arm wrap around my shoulders, pulling me towards the centre of the pitch.

When I look down, I notice the blue shorts. They're a Chelsea player?

My head shoots round, and I'm met with the eyes of the one person I don't want to see.

"Don't make a scene." She snaps at me, making me gulp and nod, allowing her to guide me where she wants to.

"What do you want?" I ask her as she comes to a stop, stepping in front of me and putting her hands on my shoulders.

"I'm warning you, Leah is cheating on you with Stacey." Ellie tells me, making me look at her in confusion. "I saw them together during camp, kissing, but I didn't have my phone on me, so I couldn't take a photo of it. I know you have no reason to believe me, but in some sick and twisted way, I still care about you."

"But why would she cheat on me?" I mutter, sighing before casting a look back over towards Leah.

They definitely do look comfortable with each other, to say the least.

"She's Leah's ex, from before Jordan. They were dating in secondary school and split up because Stacey moved to America for university." Ellie explains, causing my face to drop.

She's actually cheating on me?

"Thanks for the warning, El." I say before looking over her shoulder, seeing Wally approaching us.

Before she can reply, Wally comes over and wraps an arm around my shoulder, pulling me away from her.

Do I believe her or not?
