Chapter 2- London

It had been a few weeks since the Everton match, within that time, City have played Real Madrid, and lost 1-0, and Spurs and lost 2-1, with our next game being against Arsenal in a weeks time.

I didn't feature in the Real Madrid or the Spurs game, with Gareth fully sticking to his plan of not playing me until the Arsenal game, who are currently sitting at the top of the league.

However, due to the fact that I wasn't played in the match against Spurs, or even put on the bench, I have been given time off, meaning that after that game, Lauren, Georgia (yes we're talking again now), Keira, Lucy, Ona, Tooney, Lessi, Mary and I had all traveled to London, with Beth Mead hosting a party tonight for anyone who she's friends with to attend to, meaning that I'm more than likely going to see a certain someone I hate a week before I need to.

The party is at 7pm and it's currently 5pm, meaning that there is around an hour before Beth sends a limo to pick us all up and take us to the venue at which the party is being hosted.

"Keira! Lucy! Hurry up and get ready!" I hear G shouting from another room, making me chuckle.

"Do you really want to go to this party, Dri?" Ona asks me, concern filling her voice.

"She has no choice now, Ona!" Mary exclaims, walking into the room me and Ona are sitting in, clearly ready to leave, as are Ona and I.

Mary is wearing a black dress with a slit in the side, with some light makeup on, which honestly, makes her look hot.

On the other hand, Ona is wearing a white shirt, which leaves nothing to the imagination, may I add, and ripped jeans, clearly going for the smart casual look.

"Mary you look fucking hot," I tell her, resulting in Ona smacking my arm.

"Thanks, Adriana, you don't look too bad yourself," Mary responds, while laughing at the fact that Ona smacked me.

I've gone for more of a smart casual look as well, with a black blazer over the top of a grey t-shirt and black trousers with a belt.

"Are we all ready?!" G asks, with Lauren trailing behind her.

"We are in here, Georgia" Mary tells her in response, "although I don't know if Tooney and Lessi are"

Around an hour later, we're being picked up by the limo, it turns out Tooney and Lessi weren't ready and they were both dancing to ABBA, which Georgia quickly put a stop to and made them get ready.

The limo is quite spacious and therefore makes me wonder if we're meant to be getting anyone else as well?

"G, are we getting anyone else on the way?" I ask her, wanting a response. However G just turns away from me and doesn't answer, making me look around to everyone else to which they all just shrug.

About twenty minutes into the journey in the limo, we stop somewhere, which clearly isn't the venue for the party, leading me to believe that we are in fact picking more people up.

And who else would those people be but Leah Williamson, Lia Walti, Katie McCabe, Jennifer Beattie, Kim Little, Steph Catley, Vivianne Miedema, Caitlin Foord, Jordan Nobbs and my ex.

Are you fucking kidding me?

"Leah!" G and Keira shout before beckoning her over to them.

No. Please no, the only place she can sit to be near them is in between me and Georgia as Georgia is next to Keira and Keira is next to Lucy.

And what does she go and do? Come and sit next to me, of course.

"G, Keira!" she says whilst hugging them both, her voice is making my blood boil. And causing memories I don't want to come back "no wonder your mother left you, you're unlovable"

Am I really unlovable? Is that why my mum left me with my dad? And is that why I haven't heard from her since?

"Calm down, Dri," I hear a voice say in  my ear, Ona. I nod at her in response whilst she takes my hand closest to her and starts tracing patterns into it, whispering words in Spanish in my ear trying to calm me down in the process.

"Adriana, what a surprise, I didn't expect to see you here," Leah remarks, looking at me and Ona, "and you must be Ona, her girlfriend, right?"

"Perra," Ona mutters under her breath, "Sí, you are Leah Williamson, no?"

"I am, it's nice to meet you" Leah says whilst extending a hand out to Ona to shake. What the fuck is she doing?

Ona looks at me for reassurance, resulting in me nodding my head at her, encouraging her to shake Leah's hand. Which she therefore does, reluctantly.

"So, how long have you two been dating?" Leah questions us both. That's when it hits me.

Ellie told Leah I cheated on her with Ona.

Ona looks at me, obviously trying to work out what the words are in English, which makes me laugh a bit.

"We've been dating since April, Williamson, before that we barely spoke because I was respectful of my girlfriend's boundaries." I tell Leah, annoyed that she would just assume everything Ellie says.

"April?" Leah asks. But before either me or Ona had the chance to answer, the limo pulls up to the venue at which the party is at.

That's when Beth opens the door to the limo, "doesn't this look cozy?" she remarks whilst looking at me and Leah.

I grab Ona's hand again and pull her out of the limo and towards the venue of the party, this is going to be an interesting night.
