Peter missed home more than anything. But he also knew he didn't deserve to feel that way. He got everyone killed or hurt. If he had just gotten Thanos's gauntlet off in time, Tony wouldn't be dead, millions of people who died when they came back from the blip are dead because of him. He got Uncle Ben killed when he let the robber go. He got Aunt May killed by letting her stay around multiple supervillain's who hated Spider-Man. MJ was almost killed during the fight against the villains from the other worlds.

Now he was here in another universe. The only good things he kept from the other universe were Spider-Man and Felicia. He doesn't understand why Felicia still enjoys his company. He was the reason the two of them were trapped here and had no way back. Even if they did, he would probably let her leave him behind. He didn't deserve her love or affection. He wished she would just scream at him and tear him apart but she still acts to fucking nice to him. She is always flirting with him and sure, that's normally how she acts. But that's the problem, she acts as if he's not gonna be the reason she gets hurt one day or even killed one day. His damn Parker luck is gonna strike again and this time Felicia will be the one to get hurt.

School was a nice escape from all of his problems. He was able to take his mind off of everything with school work. He liked taking extra time to do math and science work just to use his brain. He enjoyed it. It was his escape. Sometimes being around Steph, Felicia, Tim, Duke, and Damian was too much. They reminded him of of his old friends and family. Sometimes he just needed to walk away and be on his own. That's how he ended up back in the old firehouse after school.

*Trigger Warning*

He needed space from everything. Peter's head hurt and his whole body ached. He was so hungry. He's barely been able to eat, let alone the amount of food he needs to eat. His own body was tearing itself apart. His metabolism was working too fast for the rest of his body. He was losing weight and his body was practically eating itself. Peter had to throw up. He ignored the pain as he ran over to the bucket in the corner and threw up blood and vomit into the bucket. Blood dripped down from his mouth and poured into the bucket. He threw up again and watched as the blood painted the inside of the bucket. Peter had threw up a third time before his stomach felt empty. He still had blood on his chin as he sat back up. His vision became blurred. "This isn't good." Peter groaned and everything went black.

When Peter woke up, he felt soft sheets under him. He felt a hand in his own and slowly opened his eyes to see Felicia sitting next to the bed. They were in their apartment now. Peter didn't remember going to the apartment. He remembered going to school and then the firehouse and then... oh. He remembered throwing up now. All of that blood and vomit. He could still see it in his head. He looked over to the alarm clock and saw the time. 2:15 AM.

*End of Trigger Warning*

It was two in the morning. He slept through the whole day after everything. His body no longer ached as he slowly stood up to not make any noise and saw the IV in his arm. He ripped out the IV and opened the window slowly. He got on the fire escape and used his webs to slowly close the window. He always kept a small retractable version of his web shooters in his pockets. He walked up the fire escape and onto the rooftops. Looking at all of the other buildings he noticed how lucky he was to have a fire escape. If there was a fire, these people here were dead to rights if you lived on the top floor.

Peter didn't know how long he had been running along the rooftops. He wasn't anywhere near crime alley and he had no idea what time it was. Felicia was probably going to kill him, resurrect him, and kill him again. If he was lucky, she might let him live the second time. He doesn't remember how he got there, but at some point he was standing on the edge of a tall building. He watched as Batman talked to the Commissioner? Peter assumed that's who the man was. They both stood next to the Bat signal, which he learned was how they asked for Batman's help. He watched as the Commissioner turned around and the Batman fade walk into the shadows and never reappear. He just simply disappeared. His senses flared to the max immediately and he stared into the shadow behind him. He couldn't see anyone within the shadows but he could hear them. Their body made slight tingles that couldn't be controlled by a human. He could hear the blood of their body moving like a river in the jungle.
