Gotham meet Spider-Man and Black Cat

Chapter 8

Peter didn't plan to go on patrol that night. He let Steph know with the number Felicia put in his phone. Steph was confused who it was at first but they worked it out.

Peter tried to sleep and woke up after dreaming of May's broken body. He cooked up five minute ramen and was now eating at two in the morning. He should've gone back to bed but it was tough sleeping without Felicia next to him. In his arms.

Peter's mind was racing with memories when one of them hit him. Felicia told him that her mother survived the snap. Her dad was supposed to be dead. Did she lie about it all. Peter had never met Felicia's mother. She was always away when he talked to her and according to Felicia, her father was around but neglected her.

Peter would ask Felicia about it at school. There was no time to worry about it all right now. It was so odd to not have her here. The apartment was dark and lonely. He could deal with being alone but he had never lived alone before. Everything was so cold.

The apartment was too much for Peter to handle. He finished his ramen and walked out into the snow. Everything was easier this way. All of his problems could fade away when he moved across rooftops.

Peter watched from above as Red Hood dealt with a pair of drug dealers trying to sell drugs to a few young kids. One of the criminals was screaming louder than Peter had ever heard. It sounded like he was being slaughtered by a group of criminals.

"Maybe that will teach you not to fuck around in my territory dumbass." Red Hood's modulated voice broke through the screams. The next second Peter heard the smashing sound of an object and the screams stopped. Peter turned and ran the other way.

Peter had been walking for roughly an hour by now. He didn't remember what direction he went in and was completely lost. The only good thing was his suit inside the backpack he took. Peter hoped he would find Felicia or someone other than Red Hood tonight.

Peter was simply minding his business and standing by a ledge when he saw Black Bat and Spoiler sitting on a ledge not too far from him. Peter whistled to gain their attention. Both of the vigilantes looked over to him and watched Peter wave. Spoiler and Black Bat waved back. Peter jumped down to the alley below and dressed up in his suit.

"We thought you ditched us, Spidey. Black Bat won't admit it but she was very worried about you." Spoiler stood up and turned around to face Peter as he crawled up the wall. "My bad Black Bat. I just had some personal issues to deal with." Black Bat walked up to him. "Dating baby sister. Don't hurt her. Like you." Peter blushed. He was already being threatened by the family. That didn't go too well last time.

"Well at least you didn't try to kill me. That wasn't fun." Black Bat and Spoiler looked back at him with worrying glances. "Oh well, it is what it is. Moral of the story, don't date girl's who have a supervillain father." Spoiler mentally facepalmed. "You need therapy." Peter shrugged. "Eh, tried it not for me. Taking out all my pent up sadness and frustration on criminals is much better."

Black Bat slapped him in the face. "Ow. Not cool." Black Bat shook her head. "Stupid, Spider-Boy." "I'm not stupid. Just a little insane and traumatized. But massive amounts of trauma had never hurt anyone. Like Red Hood, he's traumatized and completely fine. My girlfriend is haunted by her own demons and has never tried to rob anyone or claw my eyes out." Spoiler smacked him on the back of the head. Peter turned to her. "Why you bully me?" "I will have your girlfriend claw your eyes out if you don't stop."

"I'm never going to stop. Besides she likes my jokes, it's part of my charm. I didn't act like I normally do the first two nights. Spider-Boy is unhinged and mentally deranged." Before anyone could reply, Oracle's voice came through "Penguin and Two-Face thugs are currently hitting multiple banks in Gotham. Black Bat, Spoiler, and Red Robin take the bank eight blocks from you. You three should meet up at the bank once Red Robin finishes his fight down the street." Red Robin's voice crackled through the speaker. "Just finished O. I'll be at the bank quicker than flash."
