Cass sent a message to everyone in her family. The message was as detailed as she could make it while traveling across rooftops. Everyone in the family should be going to Wayne Enterprises by now or they should already be there. Cass had removed her tracker so that no one could find her and Peter.

Oracle had no way to contact her which should allow for her and Peter to deal with Dr. Freeze alone tonight. Taking an unknown vigilante who was very young might not be the best decision in most people's eyes. But Cass could tell Peter was different. He carried himself in a way that showed he was familiar with this type of work.

The kid was a fighter and he knew more about this kind of work than others who had been doing it for years. She could tell by the way he moved around on the walls when they were scoping out the Iceberg lounge. His suit wasn't as great as the suits worn by Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, or anyone else in her family, but it was very well done.

Peter was very comfortable in the suit and he made it look like he has been wearing it for years. Cass had obviously made the right call wanting Peter's help. If he doesn't do so great with Dr. Freeze, Cass will train him until he's better than Batman ever was.

Cass arrived at S.T.A.R Labs shortly after Dr. Freeze arrived. They both slipped through an entrance by the front and the scene they walked into was not pretty. Scientists were frozen completely in ice. Some were bleeding and needed immediate medical attention. Cass called the G.C.P.D and was told forces would arrive within ten minutes. That was time Cass and Peter didn't have.

Black Bat and Spider-Man continued moving through the building before finding the security room. On it they looked through each of the camera feeds to find Freeze but came up blank. Peter began to rewind the video feeds and found a video of Dr. Freeze.

Freeze's men held the scientist up while Freeze stood before them. "Where is the chemical Dr. Ferguson?" The scientist was in tears. He was begging for his life. "I don't know. I wasn't told anything about it. Only Dr. Michaels was." Freeze punched the scientist in the gut. "Where is Dr. Michaels?" "He's probably in his safe room. It's connected to his office in case something happens." Freeze hummed in acceptance. He got what he needed. "Well I say we give this Dr. Michaels a visit." Freeze turned around and took one step before turning back around and shooting Dr. Ferguson. "Let's go find Dr. Michaels."

Cass looked back at some of the security cameras. "Dr. Michaels office is on the 73rd floor. Freeze's men are on the 64th, we are on the 66th. If we're lucky, we might make it there when Freeze does. You take the vents Spider. I'll take the stairs and elevator shaft to try and cut them off."

Peter jumped into the vents and crawled as fast as he could. Cass moved swiftly and silently through the halls. The men and women walking through the halls stood no chance against the Black Bat.

Cass finally got one of them on the ground after she broke their leg and stopped them from screaming out. "What is Freeze looking for?!" The thug had seemed scared. "I don't know what he's looking for I swear! He didn't tell us anything." He was lying. Cass took his arm and held it the wrong way. "You don't tell me right now and I dislocate both your shoulders starting with this one." That knocked some sense into the thug.

"Ok. Ok. It's some sort of weird freezing drug. I heard it had something to do with Scarecrow and some new guy. That's all I know, I swear." He broke. "Good." Case knocked him out and continued her way through the halls.

Peter dropped through the vents and landed inside the office. As he did his senses heightened and a tingle went down from his neck to his spine. He jumped up onto the ceilings. Felicia was right. The dark colors would work more in Gotham than the classic red and blue colors.
