Mark has sent his daughter back to school after the mission was completed and mia was not happy about it.. She was so nervous to go back because that whole incident with Aidan in the hallway... Alot of people saw it and she was scared incase she got made fun off. Alas, she had to go to school since she's already had over a week off.

She's sleeping peacefully cuddling a teddy close to her when her alarm rings at exactly 8am. She groans and reaches over and turns it off and sighs before sitting up and stretching.

"Honey are you awake?"

"Yes dad.. Im up" she rolls her eyes and clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. "alright sweetie and when you are dressed I want to discuss something with you over breakfast"

Mia wonders what that thing is. Sure her dad loves her and is overprotective of her but he never really talks to her about things

She gets dressed into tight jeans and a light blue hoodie and does her hair in a low pony tail with her 2 bangs at the front (ik i said I was going to use pictures but this outfit was easy to make up🙃)

Mia walks downstairs and into the dinning room and sits at the other end of the long ass table while her dad is at the other side and has a serious look on his face.

"Why are you wearing that?" he asks. She understands why though because she never wear things like this unless it's winter.. Or shes just lazy.

"Um I just wanted to switch things up.." Mia smiles clearly lying and she looks down at her breakfast and starts eating. It was an omelette.

(Idk any rich breakfasts bro)

Mark sighs and takes a bite of his breakfast too but looks back at his daughter.

"Mia trust me I've been to highschool before and got rejected plenty of times before I met your mom. By now I'm sure everyone has already forgotten that you got rejected by that idiot"

When he mentions about her mom she flinches a little and sighs. Her father doesn't talk about her much not since she died in that car accident... Or so Mia thinks that.

"I guess your right but.. I just wanna be safe" Marks serious expression turns into a funny one and he smirks. "But sweetie your the daughter of a mafia boss! Your always safe" he laughs making a joke out of what she just said. Mia glares at him and his chuckles die down before he speaks.

"I'm just kidding i know what you meant honey." he takes another bite out of his omelette

Mia sighs and eats aswell
"so what is it you wanted to talk about dad?"

"Oh, that" Mark brings his hand up to his mouth and covers it before clearing his throat "I've decided that I'm getting you a body guard" Mias eyes widen and she looks at her dad with annoyed eyes

"But dad look at what happened last time!"

Flashback

You would probably think that she would have a bodyguard since she is the daughter of a mafia boss and yea she did. She had one when she was 13 and unfortunately that one turned out to be apart of a gang and kidnapped Mia and held her for hostage until her dad came and saved her. Killing the entire gang infront of her eyes..

Mark at that time was absolutely furious and couldn't hold back his anger because they kidnapped his little girl.. Mark thought she had run out of the place at any chance she got but no.. When she heard that gunshot her body freezes and looks back at her dad and watches the guy he just shot fall to the floor.

She stares in horror and wants to look away but can't.. Then she sees her dad killing every last gang member he sees from shooting them beating them stabbing them the list just goes on. Since Mark is here because he has to save Mia she felt as if all of their lives were took because of her and it was her fault... Thats why she hates the thought of anyone getting killed because of her.

After Mark was finished he sees Mia and he just feels like his world was crashing down on him as he reaches from his daughter but she flinches and steps back and runs out of the building while tears rolled down her face..

She didn't talk to her dad for months after that. She mostly spent time with her mom or sitting in her room trying to avoid him... That was until she was walking downstairs to the kitchen one night to get a glass of water when she heard her moms voice coming from inside her dad's office.. Once she put her ear up to the door she then hears her dad.. Crying..

"She won't even look at me the same Eleanor.." she hears her dad say sadly and he cries into his wife's shoulder.

"Shhh.. She will come around my love.. I just know it. She's been through alot but in the end she's still your daughter" Eleanor says in her soft comforting voice.

"I know she is and thats what made me so angry at those men.. They could've done things to her if I wasn't there in time!"

Mias heart was breaking hearing her dad cry like that.. It was the first time she had heard him cry ever and to know that it was over herself was devastating to say the least.

"I just wish we could be like we used to.. I just wish she wouldn't be so scared of me.."

From that point on Mia then slowly but surely was spending time with her dad again. She couldn't bare the thought of him suffering from her ignoring him.. She was too kind hearted for that.. Mia has never told Mark that she heard him that night and she's not planning to.






Mark looks at his daughter from across the other end of the dinning table and sighs before setting his fork down on his plate
"i know what happened the last time but trust me. You won't get kidnapped because it's-"

"I don't care who it is dad!" she stands up from her seat dropping her fork onto the plate as she does so and scoffs. "I'm not getting another bodyguard I'm just fine on my own!" Mia shouts with an angry expression on her face.. Before storming out of the dinning room while her dad shouts 'Mia you sit back down right now!' but Mia doesn't listen...

She slams the door and storms out of the mansion and gets in the limo with her driver jarold and he looks at her through the rear view mirror and speaks in his comforting voice
"I thought breakfast didn't end for another 5 minutes"

Mia hugs herself and looks out the window back at the doors of her mansion

"Just take me to school.. Please"
