Mias pov

Me and Amelia is so close in this 'public' area. That it's making me nervous... My dad could spot us any second so I step back a little.
"um.. Maybe we should leave all this for later?" Amelia looked saddened but nods. "Yea ofc, I mean all these people know your dad so... They could tell him."

I smile softly. "Thank you for understanding.."

During the party Amelia and Mia walk around greeting everyone. Mostly because Mia dad asked them to. Joseph and Andrew are sitting at a table near the bar while Emily and Cara get the drinks.

"This really is a beautiful place Mias dad rented out" Emily looks around at the scenery with sparkles in her eyes almost. Cara chuckles and pays the bartender before picking up her and Joseph's drinks. "Yea. It's a wonder how he can afford it."

"Maybe Mias secretly rich?" Emily says obviously joking and cara giggles.
"i doubt that-"

But then cara bumps into someone. A girl with Bright ginger hair and some freckles on her nose. She was wearing a beautiful red dress. "Omg I'm so sorry!" Said the girl. Cara looks at the girl in awe and a soft blush on her face before looking down and realises the drinks spilled on her dress. "Oh don't worry it's fine-" cara says before getting cut off with The girl grabbing some tissues and trying to rub it off caras dress.

"No it's not fine! I just ruined your dress and the party's barely even started!" the girl obviously feels really bad but then cara chuckles and grabs the girl by the shoulders and looks in her eyes. "really it's fine. Don't worry about it." Now that the ginger haired girl got a good look at cara she blushes and gets a little shy.

"Well.. Atleast let me buy you a drink as a sorry." She says and Cara smiles. "OK fine."

With that Emily leaves cara as she enjoys her drink and returns to the table. Andrew and Joseph look confused. "Where's Cara?" Joseph asks and Emily grins. "She's.. Busy at the moment. She will be back soon."

Andrew looks at Emily and grins with a blush on his face. "You know i dont know if I've told you but you look Gorgeous in that dress~" Emily smirks and sits beside her boyfriend. "Thank you handsome. You look amazing in that suit~" Emily teases him.

Joseph however was not impressed. "You 2 make me sick" He rolls his eyes. Andrew chuckles and punches his friends shoulder lightly. "What because we're straight or because your jealous."

"Both" Joseph says while leaning his arm on the table. Andrew laughs. "You'll get a boyfriend one of these days, bro"

Amelias pov

God this exhausting... Boss gets Mia to do this every year? I feel bad for her.. Im sure she's tierd to..

"Hey you wanna take a break? I'm sure your feet are hurting you in those heels.. We've been standing for 30 minutes straight." I says worriedly. Mia looks at me and nods.

"Yes.. My feet would really love that right now" she chuckles before we make our way over to an empty table. Which was hard to find. This place is packed out.

"So who are all these people anyway? If they don't know about the.. Whole organisation thing" I ask Mia. God I still can't get over how beautiful she is in that dress..

"They are all people who go to my dad's casino. Most of them are regulars so I recognise a few of them." Mia looks at me while saying this. I nod and look into the crowd. "Sure is alot of people.."

About 10 minutes later they stand back up and continue greeting the guests. Everything was going fine until Mia walks up to A ginger haired girl... Who I recognises instantly.
