"Wasn't that fun?" Hero sarcastically asks as they get closer and closer to Berk.

"Extremely." Hiccup scoffs and they land in front of the Blacksmith's shop. Now used for building saddles and replacing broken dragon teeth.

"There they are! The pride of Berk!" Stoick announces, making Hero jump.

"That's an exaggeration." Hero huffs as they and Hiccup jump off their dragons and walk into the shop.

"Who are somehow always late for work!" Gobber adds to Stoick's announcement, pretending to stab the two.

"Woah, hey! This isn't even my job!" Hero argues, grabbing their cloak from off the rack next to them.

"Yeah, you're supposed to be making paint for the houses!" Freya, who came out of nowhere, scolds, smacking Hero on the back of the head. "I had to do your job for you!"

"Sorry, sorry! But there's something important we need to tell say, right, Hiccup?"

"Yes." Hiccup agrees before jumping when Stoick suddenly puts his hands on his shoulder.

"I'm sure it's exciting!" Stoick says, walking off.

"Well, kinda...?"

"Not really." Hero says with a shrug and follows behind Hiccup as he chases after his father.

"Wait, what's wrong?" Freya questions, chasing after them. "Is it something mom needs to know?"

"No, I don't think it's that serious."

"Lesson one!" Stoick instructs, tossing Hiccup his apron and walking towards the counter of the shop, where a bunch of Vikings stood. He then takes a piece of wood with a number on it from off the wall. "A chief's first duty is to his people so...forty-one!" He calls.

"Well, can we just talk in private for a-" Hiccup's interrupted as Stoick's about to call another number.

"Forty-"

"That's me! That's me!" One of the Vikings screams, running up to the counter and pushing everybody else to the side.

"While Hiccup's talking to his dad, you're helping me with the next set of paint." Freya says to Hero, grabbing them by the back of their cloak. "Astrid! Did you finish mashing the scales?"

"Yep!" Astrid replies from a few feet away with a table in front of her. On top of the table was a big bowl of crushed up orange scales and another bowl. "Hey, Hero!" She greets, fist bumping Hero who chuckles in response.

"Hey." They say before cringing when they see Stormfly spit inside the empty bowl.

"Thanks, Stormfly-AH!"

Grump (Gobber's dragon) was supposed to light up the fireplace, but missed. Horribly. Making it go everywhere else and forcing everyone to dodge. Gobber groans and pulls a rope, making a bucket of water above the fireplace to come down, extinguishing the lava.

"That's it, Grump! You're going up for adoption!" Gobber states.

Hero sighs at the dragon before turning back to Astrid, eyes widening when they see her pick up a gigantic bucket of paint easily. "Okay, Thor." They tease with a small smile. Astrid smiles back at them and walks over to an even bigger container, dumping the paint inside it.

"Can you carry that as well?" Hero asks, walking over to it.

"With some help, yeah." Astrid answers as Freya walks over to Koi and examines her tail that Hero recently painted rainbow.

"Woah, Hero, this looks so pretty!" Freya compliments, running her hand along the tail. "So you can paint your dragon but not come to work on time?"

"Wha- That was a trap!" Hero exclaims.
