Chapter 17
•Alex's P.O.V•
"You snuck out!? Again!?"
Zielo shot me a wild glare. Lunch had just started and I wasted no time as I gathered my friends to an empty hallway and explained what happened in the early hours. The others were equally as shocked.
"Relax, Zee. I wasn't spotted. If I was, I'd be in Ellowin's office."
"Thats besides the point." Zielo frowned. "What cosmic force would compell you to sneak out in the first place?"
I snapped my fingers. With a small burst flame the brown gem I found in the early hours fell into my hand.
"This." I replied.
"Another gem?" Keith stared. "Is it like the one Celest found?"
I didnt respond. Instead, I grabbed Zielo's hand and wrapped his fist around the gem. He shot me a look of confusion. Before he could say a word, the ground shook slightly as Zielo's eyes and hair began to change colour, looking exactly like Keith's. The others' jaws hung.
"Does that answer your question?"
Keith nodded blankly, still dumbfounded by what he just saw. Zielo handed the gem back to me, his hair and eyes going back to normal, and with a snap of my fingers, it disappeared.
"How did you find it?" Cameron asked.
"It's a bit of a long sto-"
Damian suddenly appeared next to us, a wide hrin spread across his face. "Guys!"
"Hey, Damian." Aarya smiled, arms crossed. "Whats got you so excited?"
"Great news!" He says. He snapped his fingers and the thick leather-bound book appeared and levitated next to him.
"The book Professor Zaptos gave us. You deciphered it?" Aaron asked excitedly. Damian nodded.
"I finally identified the language this was written in. From there, translating it was a sinch!" Damian explained. I shot him a glance.
"So that's what you were doing when I snuck out." I realized.
"Actually, no. That wasnt me." Damian shoom his head. I tilted my head in confusion.
"Huh?"
"That's not important right now." Damian dismissed. The book disappeared in a whisp of purple smoke. "Lets go to the library. I have to show you guys my findings."
"Mega warp?" Zack asked excitedly.
"I thought I said I'm not going to call it that." Damian groaned. "But yes. Come on."
We all nodded and joined hands. Damian closed his eyes, and with a spark of purple light, the giant spell circle appeared underneath our feet.
Damian had gotten a lot better with his teleportation since our battle with the Corrupted King. In the few weeks since we returned to Arceus, he gained much more control over what and where he can teleport, as well as how many objects or people he can take with him. I must say, I was really impressed with how much he improved in a few weeks. I guess my words on that day had a bigger impact than I thought.
Sparks of purple light danced around our hands. Our bodies began glowing brightly, then surged with magical energy, and a blinding flash, we vanished.

Damian sat us down and placed the huge book in the centre of the round table.
"It's called the Encyclopedia of Magical and Mystical Things." Damian said.
