Third persons pov: Maya finally graduated and was holding her certificate as she ran into her hall calling everyone downstairs! "Maaa ,babaa , bhai ,kaka ,kaki ,behen sab kaha hai !! Neeche ayein!!"
"arey aschi toh ektu thambo ki hoeche?!!!"maa said coming downstairs ( we are coming wait a min what happened?!)
Maya's pov:
Here i was holding my certificate with a big smile plastered on my face as ma came down with baba and bhai following her
As she looked what i was holding she hugged me patting my back saying "koto boro hoe geli amar maya!" Sniffing She cracked her fingers to remove the evil eye. (How big you have got my maya) "Maa pls don't cry you should be happy."smiling at her i exclaimed.
"Those are happy tears ." Muma stated pinching my cheeks while i smiled .
"Now get her ready for wedding enough of this studies she has graduated now ."his voice void as usual no emotions Hearing to what dad said my face fell getting all paled I knew this was coming..
"Dad ! Please i beg not this time let me atleast pursue what i want . Marriage can happen in future what's there to rush." I stated looking towards my ma with pleading eyes. "yes she's correct ,let her study and be independent...this is what she struggled for and soon she will be leavin for jaipur!" Maa walked towards my dad , convincing him my planting a forced smile on her face
"in one condition I'll let her study If she returns in 5 years after her courses She will be marrying to the guy i will be choosing her for , you heard mee !" My own father puts up condition on letting me study we had this conversation before which resulted in busted lips and swollen cheeks.
Straightening myself I answered "i will dad!" "I will be marrying to the guy u will be choosing for me ." Inhaling a deep breathe I answered fisting my trembling hands. Dad stares at me as if he's finding lies in my words,nodding his head he walks away
After he left i sat on the sofa letting my tears fall. Maa sat beside me hugging mee consoling As i looked at her Maa cupped my cheeks and stated "Its ok I'll convince him,don't cry hmm?" Wipping my tears with the back of my hand as i nodded.
"I'll go and freshen up" I wasn't in the mood to talk with anybody "I'll get ur lunch in your room ."she said getting up. Nodding to her i walked towards my room Closing the door behind i kept the certificate in my files. I sat at edge of my bed " i hate him from my core, he controls every fucking thing of my life not anymore I'm tired of this." Getting up i made my way to the bathroom,took a shower changed into fresh pair comfy clothes as i tucked myself under the duvet. Opening wattpad i started to read books Dance ,books &songs are my escape from my reality ..
I was engrossed in reading the story When the door of my room creaked open i turned to see Maa standing there with holding a plate of food my lunch Sitting up straight "come muma have a seat." I states patting the bed. She came sat on the bed "cmon have your lunch,let me feed you!" I nodded as she started to feed me..
Adhair pov "Adhair betaa!!ye dekh ye ladki dekhi hai tere liye kinii sooni hai naa!tu to settle hi hogya hai ab shaadi krle saas ka sukh dede mujhe "
"ma..abhi nii itni jldi kon krta hai shaadi fillal to Niii yaha kam nhi sambhala jata biwi kaise sambhalu" I answered heaving a sigh. Ma answered sighing in defeat. "Fine do Whatever you want .." Saying maa walked away with puffed up angry face.
"daduuu !! Tell her naa I'll get married when I'll be ready" "betu!ill tell her ok don't wrry mera bacha now go you must be gettin late " Kissin my dadus cheeks i started to walk not before telling.
"Tell maa not to worry this much jldi budhi hojayegi" Hearing this dadi laughed ! Smiling i went towards my car and drove off.
At office Ayansh(secretary): sir you have a meeting to attend with rawals prepare the room for the meeting I'll be there My life mainly revolves around work n family had a girlfriend in past but she cheated on me n from that day i only focused on myself . Atleast for now I'm not interested in love.
After the meeting i was in my cabin checking files! When my phone rang Upon reading the name it was none other than my bestfriend shubh mukherjee He was business man we both are childhood buddies shubh is currently now in Kolkata On call Adhair:kya bey!chomu bhul hi gyaaa mujhe haa phone nahin kuch nahi.. Shubh:chup chutiya! Khud phone nahi krta uska kya!!(they both started laughing) Adhair:ab kan arha hai jaipur mujhse milnee .. Shubh:jaisi hi time milega .
After talking with shubh it actually felt a good its been a year since we met . Sighing i stared at the bustling city feeling empty. I have healed from my last encounter of being cheated but the betrayal and pain still lingers around my mind and emotions.i just hope someone would be capable of loving me just the way i am.
