Maya's pov:
Everything was packed and done, I decided to wear a red kurti with oxidised jhumkas ,glass bangles the bottoms were baggy jeans and converse shoes. Did some light makeup sprayed some perfume here i was all ready.
Taking the picture of my room inside my head i smiled through my glassy eyes. My comfort place my room has seen my every phase and emotions. Taking my bag glancing for the last time i made my way downstairs.
Everyone were already seated as i took a seat ma served me hot poha as i digged into the last homemade meal . While eating dad said the cab will be arriving soon i nodded on his statement.
After finishing my breakfast,raya and dev clunged onto me . " guys don't be sad I'll be back soon ." I assured them while pecking their cheeks. " but will miss you is it that important for you to leave us to study." Raya stated sniffing her nose red like cherries . While dev nodded in her agreement.
" it is babies,you guys have grown up I know how strong you are i love you as i said I'll be back soon." I answered wipping my own tears both sticking onto my sides as i walked with them towards the main door ma carried my bag following me from behind.
"Now i need to go bachas,i love you remember and don't fight you both have each other help one other ok." Their hold loosened as i took my bag from my mumas hold.
Taking blessings from all the elders including my dad. I got seated into the cab . Ma sobbed as dad hugged her his expression stoic as he looked at me with those stoned eyes. Bidding them my last goodbye i rested my head onto the window already missing my maa and siblings.
But it's for my own good living under the same roof under him makes me suffocated. To divert my mind i started scrolling through my insta.
