Throughout the whole night, we were partying, drinking, singing and making loud noises. It is currently 1 am, and yet no one is tired. We have a whole karaoke machine, singing, dancing and drinking. People started to get a bit tipsy as well, because of the amount of drinks they had. I had a few shots, but most of the time, it was just me singing and screaming at the top go my lungs. The whole team was wearing the same thing. We were wearing the same shorts we were wearing in the game, a red and black bucket hat and our training shirt, followed by our medals. During this moment, nothing else mattered. I was just barley drunk, so I had more time to party,  but Chloe and Ashley were incredibly drunk. They had a whole chugging battle to see who could drink the most beer in 30 seconds, which Chloe obviously won. They stumbled everywhere they went, and I honestly don't blame them, because if I worked as hard as them, I would be drunk on the floor right now.

We celebrated for another 3 hours, until it was finally time for bed. Everyone was gonna be VERY hungover in the morning. To be honest, I wasn't that tipsy, other than the fact that my head was hurting bit. After I brushed my teeth and got changed, I laid down in bed, thinking what the fuck happened in the past 10 hours. As I am thinking deep into my thoughts, I head my phone go off.

Leahwilliamsonn has requested to follow you.

I instantly sprung out of my bed, sitting upright as fast as I could. Damn, I completely forgot about her. I viewed her profile, or staked her profile, and actually realised that she is quite famous. She has 1 million followers, and all her posts look really cool. Weather it was football, photo dumps or her at awards, she somehow managed to look incredible in every post. That was when I bumped into a post about her and the Euros and then I saw a picture of her wearing the captain Armband. Hang on, she is a captain? That's probably why her name rang a bell in my head. She was on the news a few times on TV to be honest.

Just imagine if the England football captain and the England Volleyball captain went out together?

Before I followed her back, I went to check if my instagram was as good as hers. I had 14 million followers, good volleyball pictures and and good pictures of my private life. I also remembered that I needed to post about our final, including the trophy lift. I quickly sandwiched as many pictures as I could, from the moment we stepped into the arena to the moment we lifted that trophy.

I captioned it- "A dream that I never wanted to forget."  And then uploaded the post. THEN I followed her back. I then turned my phone off and then went to bed. My name was already getting spread a lot around social media, and I didn't really want that to distract me.

When I woke up this morning, I saw 2 instagram notifications, and they were all from Leah. The second I saw this, I instantly sat up, moving my fingers as fast as I could to unlock her phone.  One was a picture she posted on her story, tagging me, saying: Absolutely amazing @hayleyrook1e. I felt my cheeks going red as soon as I saw the post. my heart was beating so fast. There was another one, but it wasn't a post, or a story. She dmed me. I couldn't believe my eyes. She actually messaged me. With my hands shaking and my heart pumping, I slowly tapped on the text.

Hey Hayley, I just wanted to text you and say congratulations for winning yesterday. I hope you and your team are well and that you are still celebrating, because you deserved that win. I don't really think you will see this message, but if you do, I just wanted to check and say hello. Thanks, Leah x

I don't think I have blushed so much just my reading a text from someone. She said that we deserve it. She wanted to say high to me. What is going on? At the bottom of the text she also put in her number, making me even more curious. Does she like me? No, she can't. There is no way. I am way out of her league. I save her number anyway, and I text her back.
