FALL IN WINTER

Let the snowflakes fall and glide through your hair,

and gently fall to the ground in pairs,

the winter sky will gloom in despair,

and the winter night leaves no stars to stare.

The moon will honor your beauty,

hiding behind the clouds,

with nothing but tales of your ineffable eyes,

let me look in the eyes of Aphrodite and tell lies,

that there's no one more beautiful than her in sight,

Let me unfold tales of your beauty through the cold lonely night,

narrate them until everything comes to a still,

and the first sunray at dawn breaks my will.

The winter shall spread far and wide,

till every land is covered in white,

let the winter breeze become my guide,

and spread gently your tales for people to hold on to the night.

The last leave of fall, wither and fall it will,

Winter will arrive again and I'll be falling still.
