Chapter 6

Freen's

We decided to watch 'The Choice' movie. Her laptop sitting on our lap while we half laid on her bed, her head resting on my shoulder and my head resting on hers. Our focus is on the movie.

We were not even halfway with it yet when bec moved so I removed my head from her, she then looked up at me and said, p'freen, can we continue watching on the projector instead of laptop? I wanna lay on the bed now, please. she said pouting at me. I chuckled and gave her a nod then proceeded to stand up and set up the projector.

We can just watch it on her TV in the living room, but the couch would be too small for us. After setting the projector up on the wall at the end of the bed and making sure that the angle and position were just right from where the bed was, I walked back to her.

Bec was smiling and said, thanks, p'freen. I just winked at her and then laid myself on the bed beside her. She automatically clutched her left arm on me, draped securely on my stomach. My hands then automatically encircled her shoulders. Holding her arm that is in my stomach, I slowly caress it with my other hand, drawing small circles in it.

do you think they'll end up together despite their situation? Bec suddenly asked, still focused on the movie. This is our first time watching The Choice and it is one of those movies in our list of to-watch movies that we never really get to watch.

I'm honestly not sure right now bec, but I have a feeling they would. I answered her. Gabby's character in the story is committed but undeniably attracted to her neighbor, Travis.

do you want them to end up together? she questioned again. she's interested in the movie, I can see it.

you could say that. why, don't you? I asked back. she chuckled at that then shot back, I'm not sure.. but I kinda want to know why you want them to end up together. is it because they're the main characters? I smiled at that.

it's not that because they're the main characters why I wanted them to end up together. I'm not even sure if I want them to end up together but I think that would be the case because that's how movies and series always end, right? a happy ending for the main characters. I answered, kinda getting confuse as to why she asked me that.

she just nodded and said, yeah.. you're right. but aside from that fact, why do you think they should end up together? she asked again, not letting the topic go. I like it when she's curious about things. it makes me adore her more. I just love how this kid thinks, honestly.

we're now at the part of the movie where Gabby and Travis stopped holding back the obvious attraction they have for each other and finally let their feelings speak for them. They kissed and made love for the first time with Gabby still committed to Ryan, her boyfriend who's currently on vacation.

well, they obviously have feelings for each other, bec. I answered her. She looked up at me and then said, that's it? Do you think they should end up together just because they like each other? how about Gabby's boyfriend, then? that loves and wants to marry her?

I'm not sure where we're getting at with this topic. I just shrugged my shoulders and answered her, I believe their feelings will now bloom in love bec, but I really think they're already there. i just answered plainly, I'm curious what's gonna be the next question she'll fire me with that answer.

let's see.. she only said. i know she's not gonna let it go just like that, though. I smiled to myself at the thought.

we continued watching until the part where Gabby confessed her affair to her boyfriend, Ryan. He broke it off with her but then later proposed to Gabby.
