Chaeyoungs POV

I work up to my phone ringing. I grabbed my phone even though I didn't want to wake up. Like who seriously calls people so early in the morning? The sun is barely out.

" yeoboseyo..?" I answered with my dry morning voice.

" Good morning. Is this Ms. Son Chaeyoung from D.A.P.H. University?" A man asked on the other line. He sounded very formal to be one of my sicko friends, so he wasn't someone i knew.

" Yes? Who may this be? " I sat up straight on my bed and answered.

" We are sorry to infrom you this at such such early hours, but your special scholarship to D.A.P.H. University has been exterminated. Your anonymous funder who volunteered to fund your studies , changed their decision on your scholarship. We deeply apologize again for the short notice. We advice you to take all your belongings inside the school grounds by today, or it will be disposed. " The man on the other line said, and ended the call.

I froze.

My scholarship? Exterminated? How? Why? 

My heart was shattered to pieces. Why would they exterminate my scholarship so easily like that? I'm literally the the youngest student in university, yet the highest scroring student. Are they insane? What has gotten into my 'anonymous funder' .

I stood up from my bed, feeling miserable on the news I just got. I then walked over to the sink, to brush my teeth, and wash my face. What am I gonna do? I can't get a decent job without finishing college. 

Third persons POV

Chaeyoung got dressed, and headed to her campus to collect her belongings before the school throws it all away. Her mind was filled with negative thoughts on what she'll do after all this mess. It's already obvious for her, that she can't continue her dream of being a culinary chef. She was devastated. She only had one choice. It was to work full time at her current job for extra money.

After walking for a while she then decided, to buy something from the convenience store she came by yesterday. As she entered the store, Chaeyoung saw her friend dahyun at the shelves near the entrance, holding a cup of shin ramyeon, and string cheese, looking white as ever. Chaeyoung believes, that dahyun is a walking white washed human.

" CHAEYOUNG! Good morning! Did you hear about your cousin Nayeon? When you were gone yesterday, rumors about her dating Jeongyeon spreaded around campus, like wild fire." Dahyun said, almost dropping the food she was holding.

" Oh. I heard. It's so obvious! Why don't they just admit it already." Chaeyoung replied.

" Like you with Sana. Just admit it. You're inlove with her. As a matter a fact, you're OBSESSED with her. And I know she notices it too." Dahyun tried to persuad Chaeyoung to confess her love, her obsession to Sana.

" HELL NO. I'm not doing that. Besides, she wouldn't want someone who won't be able to finish college to date her. " Chaeyoung answered disheartened.

" What the hell do you mean? You're literally smarter than everyones brains combined on campus. Are you dropping out?" Dahyun worriedly asked. She was worried Chaeyoung would drop out for no reason.

" It's not like I'd want to drop out. My anonymous funder didn't want to pay for me anymore, so I have stop studying. I was going to head to campus after getting breakfast here, to get all my stuff before they throw it all away." Chaeyoung explained,  Almost tearing up.
