One week after Theo Nott was released from Azkaban, he returned back to school. The judgement setting in from his fellow classmates drove him crazy but the whole house was ready to defend him if they needed to.

Currently, Theo Nott sat watching his girlfriend playing the piano. She was not very good at it, but it was something new that she wanted to try so of course he was supporting her.

"I suck at this," Elaine whines.

"No, you don't, you just need to keep practicing. "

She rolls her eyes at him, getting up and walking to where he was sitting. One thing about the two of them as a couple is that Elaine is a lot more shy when it comes to affection. Theo didn't care where they were or who was around them.

Theo wanted to grab her and pin her against the wall and kiss her until neither one of them could breathe.

"You always sit so far away from me," Theo says pulling at Elaine's arm.

"I'm sorry," she sits as close to him as possible, but it wasn't enough for Theo, so he easily picks her up and plops her in his lap.

Elaine blushes which makes Theo smile. He leans up and kisses her cheek. "You're so pretty," he mumbles.

Elaine hides her face in Theo's neck, making him laugh. Elaine loved his laugh, but she didn't feel like she heard it enough, especially after he got out of Azkaban. She just wanted him to be as happy as possible.

"You are doing ok today?" she asks him.

"I'm ok, I promise".

Elaine had asked him every day since he was released, just to make sure he was fine. She really didn't think he was fine.

"You'd tell me if you weren't?"

"Of course."

"We have class," Elaine mumbles, knowing neither of them want to go.

"I have detention with Draco today".

This was the second time this week that Theo had gotten detention. Draco and he had been on a roll with the fights they're getting into.

"Would you two stop fighting?"

Theo shrugs, pulling the two of them up from the couch. Him fighting was not his biggest concern at the moment, although it was one of his girlfriend's.  She didn't want him to keep getting in trouble, it isn't exactly the best look.

"It wasn't for nothing; they were talking shit."

"Theo, people are going to talk about you but-"

"It wasn't just me; it was all of us, even you! Do you think I won't defend your name?"

Elaine knew he would, he always would. She just hated that people were giving her and her friends such a hard time. Especially her Theo.

"I get it, I just want what's best for you, and I don't think that getting in fights is what's best for you" Elaine says worried.

"I love you, but you don't need to worry about me", He leans forward, kissing her nose, making her sigh contently.

"I will always worry about you, but it's because I love you too."

"I'll be better, but only for you. Now, kiss me before we have to go learn".

Elaine leans forward, kissing Theo quickly, making him groan.

"You're a mean woman".

"We're going to be late," Elaine teases.

"Evil you are, you're lucky you're my favorite person ever."

"Ever, ever?" Elaine says walking away, smiling.

"Ever, ever".

In potions, Theo sat paying as much attention as he could. He was mad that the potions room was moved from the dungeons. He always liked how dark it was there. Now he wasn't even down there for the dorms.

There was some Hufflepuff girl watching Theo from across the room. This time, it was not out of fear or hatred. It was purely because she thought he was hot. Although Theo didn't know that, he assumed that she didn't like him.

At the end of class, he made his way over to her. Her eyes widen as he approaches. He stands tall, trying to be as assertive as possible.

"Can you not stare at me all of class, I don't care if you think I'm scary or a bad person or whatever else you think. Juts keep it to yourself."

The poor girl stutters, not saying any real words. She was scared now, not really of him, just his reactions.

"What?" he practically yells.

"I don't- I'm not scared of you. I just think you're attractive. That's why I was looking at you," she says shyly.

"Oh," Theo says shocked.

"I'll stop staring."

"I'm sorry for coming at you like that, I'm used to people looking for bad reasons."

"It's ok, but yeah you are kind of beautiful," she blushes.

"Thank you, but you should know that I'm taken."

The Hufflepuff tilts her head in curiosity, "Who is she?"

"Elaine".

"McCracken?"

"The one and only," Theo says proudly.

"You should tell people that, I've seen a whole bunch of guys, and some girls hit on her today alone".

"Really?"

"Yeah, no one knows you two are together. We all had suspicions, but no one knew for sure."

"I'll have to let everyone know".

Elaine sat patiently in the great hall with Pansy waiting for her boyfriend and friends to arrive for lunch. Blaise, Draco, and the Greengrass sister's show up with in the next minute.

"Do you guys know where Theo is?"

"No".

"Not me".

"Nope, haven't seen him since this morning".

Elaine shrugs, just hoping that Theo was fine.

The group starts talking about a ton of different things, mostly about how people were still talking about all of them, whether it was good or bad.

"There's lover boy," Blaise sings at Elaine.

Elaine turns around to see Theo walking towards the table, carrying a giant bouquet of flowers. He smiles when the two make eye contact.

"These are for you, my beautiful girlfriend," Theo says sweetly to Elaine.

He leans down and kisses her in front of everyone, and of course they were getting stares.

"Thank you," Elaine says taking the flowers. "I love them".

"I'm glad, you deserve everything beautiful".

Everyone in the entire hall was whispering about the new couple.  Theo didn't mind, he enjoyed the fact that people knew Elaine was his.

"Everyone is looking at us," Elaine whispers to him.

Theo kisses her forehead, "I know, but it's ok. Now everyone knows we're together."

Elaine smiles at his response, "I guess I really like that".

He was happy, and that was all Elaine cared about in that moment. Theo wrapped his arm around her, just feeling better that a lot of people would stop hitting on her, at least most of them.

Elaine looked at her flowers, she really did love them. She also really loved the man she was next to and she was ready for whatever life was about to throw at them, or so she thinks anyway.
