31- Everything else

One thing about Draco Malfoy is that he was loyal to his friends. Another thing about him was that he did have a great lawyer. 

"We have to prove that your mother taking Ralph away from his current way of living is a mistake. We also have to prove that you are capable of taking care of him. That shouldn't be a problem though, you've got all of us as back up," Draco explained.

Elaine was happy, she figured that could work. Draco's lawyer got right on the case and they had a spot in the courtroom for the next week. Elaine wrote a quick letter to her mother, letting her know what was coming. 

Theo had been thinking about how he got to see his mother one more time, and for that he was grateful. The one thing he couldn't get over was the fact that his mother would never really get to meet Elaine. 

Elaine was in her room sitting on the windowsill, reading, when Theo walked in. He leans against the door frame. 

"Hi baby," Elaine says when she notices him. "Are you alright?"

"I've been thinking about something," Theo says walking over to his girlfriend. 

Elaine opens her arms, letting Theo pick her up, throwing her on his lap, a spot he loved her in. She smiles at him, kissing his nose lightly as she settles into his lap. 

"What have you been thinking?" 

"I want you to meet my mother," Theo says softly. 

"What?" 

"I know you can't meet her really, but I was wondering if you'd want to come visit the cemetery with me?"

Theo's puppy eyes were enough to get anyone to do anything he wanted. His girlfriend was not immune to his charms. She didn't need to be, especially when he was asking something so heartwarming. 

"You want me to meet your mom," Elaine says as more of a statement. 

"Yes, I really do".

"I would love to Theo, really". 

Theo smiles, pulling Elaine in for a quick little make out session. 

"Do you want to go right now?" Theo asks pulling away.

"You know how to ruin the mood Nott". 

Theo really didn't want to stop kissing Elaine but he also knew that he couldn't fully relax until he went to see his mother. He really wanted her to meet Elaine. 

"I'm sorry," he says genuinely. "I just really need this". 

"No need to apologize. I was just teasing you".

Elaine pops up, pulling Theo with her. She kisses him gently as they're standing. She just wanted to show her appreciation for him some more. 

Theo had only visited his mothers grave a few times since she passed. The last time had been the day his father got locked up in Azkaban. He had broken down, telling his mother everything. He was so upset and felt so alone that he wanted to do whatever he could to bring her back. Which was when he came up with whole time turner plan. 

Seeing the headstone once again sent a chill through Theo's spine. Elaine squeezed his hand gently, knowing he was internally freaking out. 

"You're ok," she reassures. 

Theo nods, shifting the flowers in his hand. He knew he was fine, just overwhelmed. Once they were standing in front of the grave Theo gently places his flowers at the base of it. Elaine does the same with the ones she brought. They sat in the grass right there.
